Zambrotta is only real one that stands out. Most of the others are great at going forward but lack a bit at the back. Such as Lahm and the very finest of the last 10 years, Roberto Carlos.

Eh, Lahm is actually better in defense than attack. He is an excellent defensive fullback but he is also very good helping out in attack.

Don't let the image of Lahm in the 06 WC fool you.

Are there any fans LEFT?!

I think he's a great option for the squad. I wouldn't play him week in, week out but think he's quite a good player. Not a world beater but there aren't many left backs I can think of that I'd swap him for.

He's especially good for home games against 'lesser' opposition where we can effectively push him on as a left winger leaving Kewell to push into the hole giving us extra "pothebilities".

Seems everyone is on his back these days.
