Saha cost £2m more than Kuyt and is far better player than him, he's just got **** luck with injuries. Rafa made a £10m mistake with Kuyt simple as that, **** happens but it happened.

None are the solution so what would you do ? As I said, United has been splashing the cash. It's simple. Rafa still had to put all his budget on Torres this season and sold players to buy the other ones.

There are plenty of players at the club currently who aren't good enough but who we can get some money for; Pennant, Kuyt, Carson and Sissoko.

Sell them and use the money gained to buy the right player, the cost is irrelevant in a way.

Look at Arbeloa, quality player who didn't cost a fortune, or any of those younger players Wenger has brought in for reasonable prices.

There are players out there who won't cost a fortune but who can improve us.

Or perhaps you want some sugar daddy to buy the club and do a Ambramovich and buy us the league?

OK, so we didnt play that well today, we lacked creativity and created few chances. Bad day and we'll move on. The table come may will tell us if we're good enough to win the league, not one game.

Ya know me Stig mate, I am the optimist of the lot but looking at Rafa's record against the other big 3 it does not make a good reading.
This year its the same BULL****, the 2nd half was HOOF & HOPE from us. No cohesion, no organization, nothing and it fooking hurt me to say it but we will have to be much better than that if we want to win #19.

Spot on. I said as much at HT on these boards. 2nd half was even worse. Sami, JAR & Carra were all guilty of it. Gerrard was too deep and Benni & Kewell didn't turn up. Kuyt's 1st touch let him down again at crucial moments.

You have to admit though, not beating our rivals is a major blow to our hopes....

I still believe Rafa is the man to bring us the title but he needs the boardroom support and financial clout to bring in quality players. Our squad has improved ten fold since GH left but there are still some players that are not title winning standard. I think Rafa is still learning his way in the premiership. We need to be patient with him and the owners need to back him to the hilt to get the players he wants, 1st choice not alternatives. I thought united came with a plan today and executed it to perfection. We lacked composure when it counted and most players out there today were guilty of not making the most of the possesion we had.

By the way we bought Kuyt for £10m, the scum got Ronaldo for £12m.
