    LFC Statement

    Liverpool FC issued the following press statement on Sunday night.
    A meeting was held this evening involving Tom Hicks, George Gillett, Foster Gillett, Rick Parry and Rafa Benitez which was wide ranging and positive.

    The discussions were amicable and constructive. All those present are united in their desire to bring further success to the club.

                          I hope that the hole mess is over but I believe that when Rafa is backed up in window after window for his number one targets.
                          Just believe and you never know what will happen.

                          According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                              bollocks. no details - since when did we become a club of spin. yesterday the bollocks by parry regarding the new stadium and now this.

                              This is a row thats simply simmering away. to move forward rafa wants and indeed needs either money or the freedom to sell who he wants and use that money to buy. Either G&H allow him that freedom, give him some money, or have the balls to sack rafa. Otherwise this will just continue in the background.
