Anyone who thinks that we're to good for the league cup is just being stupid, imho. It's a trophy and we want to win trophies.

And anyone who 'couldn't give a flying ****' about our involvement in a tournament should perhaps be asking themselves if supporting a football team is really for them.

We have a proud tradition in the League Cup and as the league challenge has been badly dented today, the Chelsea game takes on a bigger importance.

We will have to play a pretty strong 11 to have any chance. Chelsea play a strong team and if we play a half cocked 11, consisting of fringe players and ressies, we'll get beat. Rest 1 or 2 but any more and it will be a very hard ask.
