Marky and BenTover they are ridiculous comments to make, it's a trophy FFS, I've no doubt in the world both of you would be singing your heart off if we won in Wembley and if we lost I can pretty much guarantee you'd be one of the first 2 to give out about it on here.
The only games in football that are meaningless are international friendlies, I'll watch Liverpool in any game, friendlies, league games, carling cup games, cup finals as would any fan who could.
I reckon the 2 of you are basing this on what others will say when we win the trophy, "it's ****e", "it's worthless" blah blah blah, the same **** I've heard everytime we've won the trophy. But **** what all the other fans think, a trophy's a trophy, doesn't matter if it's the champions league or the carling cup, I want Liverpool's name on it at the end of the seasonContrary to popular belief, I have huge genitals.

Strongest team please. Winning trophies is what Liverpool is all about. We have lost two important games recently and losing another will be bad for the confidence. They are without Drogba and Terry so we should be able to outgun them quite easily.

I said this on SCM and everyone gave it the "I dont give a **** about the league Cup" line.Originally posted by DJS View PostI really want to go to the new wembley and i aint going to support ****ing england...
So i'd like us to win this game please.
That is all.
I'm buzzing about Wednesday night. Cant wait. Mainly 'cos I'll be there I guess.
No Drogba. No Terry. If Rafa wants it enough, we've got a great chance of reaching the semis....

The CC is one the three trophies that we have a realistic chance to win at the start of the season, sure I would love us to win the league but it's not a realistic target yet.
The CC, FA Cup and CL is realistic targets. Every trophy counts and the CC is a little bit extra more important now because Everton are still involved and we should try and stop them winning even the CC, they shouldn't win anything.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Would be good to beat them at theirs, but if we go out I won't lose any sleep over it.Originally posted by anfieldanfield View PostI said this on SCM and everyone gave it the "I dont give a **** about the league Cup" line.

Errr.... why isn't it? Why is the league an unrealistic target at the start of the season?Originally posted by AFII View PostThe CC is one the three trophies that we have a realistic chance to win at the start of the season, sure I would love us to win the league but it's not a realistic target yet.
Never thought I'd hear an LFc fan saying that

I'll take a win in the CC at Stamford Bridge but offer me 3 points at Stamford Bridge or a win in the CC and I'll take the points thank you very much.
That's what the CC means to me

It's not a realistic target yet because we don't have a strong enough squad yet. We can win it but it would take a lot of luck to do it.Originally posted by Red Chilli View PostErrr.... why isn't it? Why is the league an unrealistic target at the start of the season?

Give Rafa one, two more years and we will be favourites if G&H backs Rafa.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
