We have a proud tradition in the League Cup and as the league challenge has been badly dented today, the Chelsea game takes on a bigger importance.

We will have to play a pretty strong 11 to have any chance. Chelsea play a strong team and if we play a half cocked 11, consisting of fringe players and ressies, we'll get beat. Rest 1 or 2 but any more and it will be a very hard ask.

That's the only thing that concerns me. We should, imho, play a strong team down there on Wednesday because they will and I'd hate to see some of our inexperiencedplayers being run ragged by Drogba and the likes. It'd do their confidence no good.

We resorted to inpatient football- hoof tactics which we never succeeded in as we didn't win either first or second balls.
Played Kuyt and Riise- those two should be shot or even better sold

Why do some people believe we can win the title? We are a god awful distance behind, the teams ahead of us look better and much stronger than us and most importantly the experience of winning the title and what it takes to play and beat the rivals. Something we haven't done in a long time. Until we and the Liverpool team realise this, we will never ever win the title again. Gone of the days of the 70s and 80s.

Too ****ing right i would be Kurt, i'm as a big a Liverpool fan as the rest of you lot. It's just i'm very sad and rejected at the lack of cutting edge in the Liverpool team, we dominated, we create a few chances, United get one chance, take it, GAME OVER, it's the same old story and i'm afraid it's becoming something of a habit. We need to face reality, we won't be up there at the end of the season.
