To move forward on a short corner is something you learn as a microput player. It's not a mistake that you would ever expect to see on this level. It's not about Yossi bashing. There is nothing to discuss. There is no excuse. I'm sure that Yossi will be the first to regret that it happend.

But what a way to lose the biggest derby...

We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.

I didn't insult him and Rafa won't do that either. He will tell Benny what he did wrong. Benny probably already knows it but Rafa will tell him anyway.

It will probably be some extra corner training so it will work better next time.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

He would win us more games than he would make us lose them. Games are won and lost through mistakes. We made one and they made none. Get over it.

No ****, Sherlock. Want a medal for stating the obvious?

"Get over it"; close to your face and with a very hard F - pfffffff :whatever:

And you're wrong. They made plenty of mistakes. We just couldn't exploit them.

We will never win the league if Rafa would accept mistakes like this. We would be fighting to avoid relegation if that was the case.

It was one of our biggest mistakes of the season but every team makes them sometimes.

For ****s sake. Where did I say that this mistake is acceptable ! I said it was out of order to bash (assault or insult) a player for making one.

I just don't think he is good enough, mistake or no mistake.

Benny wasn't as good as any of the midfielders fielded by Man U. That is the bottom line and that is why we need a better winger.

Benayoun is ok for the time being (because there is no real alternative), against lesser team that allow him time and space he is fine, against the big teams where we require somebody to step up and perform to high level, consistently and importantly who can weave magic when under pressure, when being bullied then we need to buy somebody else.
                      We come not to play.

One excellent game from him so far, against Besiktas.

So far he hasn't been able to replace Garcia.

Disagree. He's settled in very well, a great little signing.

He is a good signing but not an excellent one. Time will tell if he is good enough and can deliver against the the top clubs.

Could be, but bashing him for that is uncalled for. That was my point.

He was poor generally yesterday as a lot of our attacking players were - Torres, Gerrard, Kuyt. Kewell. Only Babel looked a threat.

                                It happens. Accept it.

I agree he mertis a place in our squad but we need a top class right winger and a partner for Torres ASAP
