This arguement is about yossa's over all performance this season and whether he is the required quality to be a week in week out starter for us, not the who was at fault with the goal.

With or without that goal he isn't of the required quality.

    Not my argument fella!

My argument is that yossi, when he's been on, has produced better displays than most of the rest of the squad.

IMO, only Torres and Gerrard have been far better than him. There's an argument for a few others but he's been BETTER than most IMO.

Kewell has done hardly anything for us, Masher has been great in defense but poor at distributing so he is one that there's an argument for. Hyypia has been good last few games but terrible earlier scoring a bagful of og's in the process. Carra on the whole has probably been better but even he's been a bit rusty. What has Lucas done? Not much bar Everton incident.

Benny has ripped most defenses apart and contributed with a few goals...

So exactly what I said then, he wasn't the only one to **** up for the goal.

You've just give his two good games as examples. By and large he has been ineffectual in the other games he has played in.

Well it's a pretty odd thing to say. I genuinely can't tell whether you're just being daft on purpose or not. I rate him and think he's a good signing, but 'ripped most defences apart'? Behave.

The mighty Besiktas and Reading, wow
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

What's your argument? He'll give any team a problem barring an off day like yesterday.

PS, the 'mighty' reading that done us 3-1!

I like Benayoun, he's a very clever player and a good addition to the squad.

However I don't think he's good enough to be a regular starter for a title winning team. He lacks pace and is very lightweight. This really counted against him yesterday as he was pushed out of the game.
A humble guy with healthy desire.

Besiktas and Reading are not 'most defences' are they? You can twist what you meant with 'one of the best' but there's not much wriggle room with 'most defences' Nic. What are the other defences he's torn to shreds? He's been a good signing and is a very handy player but we can do better for first choice.

A squad player that is a good option to have, like some other of our players like Crouch, Kuyt, Voronin, Aurelio, Hyypia and Riise.

Squad players that can deliver in some games but not during a whole season.

I think Nic has gone insanely ott, but I probably rate him a bit higher than you do judging by that. He's a player that I see as good enough to be on the fringe of the first team, regularly coming in to the starting XI to freshen things, good option coming off the bench against top teams, one of the first in line to come in when there are injuries etc.

I'd say he's definitely got more of a long term future with us than Voronin, Kuyt, Crouch, and Riise.
