Tom is spot on. talks of shooting players and broken legs is a ****ing joke. if its not the players then its rafa. if its not rafa, its the yanks. if its not the yanks its the refs. if its not the refs its platini and galliard, personally i blame parry
.
on a serious note, we all hate losing to anyone not just the manc cunts but you just have to take it on the chin. the manager knows he has some players to get rid of and in his defence, he doesent hang around when it comes to the axe. aside from being shy of a couple of quality players, rafa has built this club back to speed in 3 ****ing years. doing well in europe, the ressies are competing at the highest level for a change. we were unbeaten for a run and arguably deserved something out of that yesterday. the mancs played as poorly as we did but capitalised on a error that was committed on the halfway line with kewell losing possession. thats football though, it sucks when it goes against you but the lack of dignity about this place when we ****ing lose is worsening.
For those of you who dont think rafa will win the league with us, your cries have been heard and i hope like i know many of you hope that your proved wrong, but please give it a rest everytime something goes downhill.

I can't believe that's being said, i really can't. It makes me feel ashamed. Everybody's got the right to feel pissed off at losing a game and let off steam, but I always thought we were better than that. That's sickened me, I feel like we've lost something really unique and important and we've just become like everbody else. No use blaming the yanks for dragging us down and disrespecting our traditions if our own are coming out with ****e like that. What a sad ****ing day.Originally posted by Revo View PostTom is spot on. talks of shooting players and broken legs is a ****ing joke. if its not the players then its rafa. if its not rafa, its the yanks. if its not the yanks its the refs. if its not the refs its platini and galliard, personally i blame parry

i've not taken part in the post match analysis or had chance to read it, but whats the point in a forum that doesn't discuss, or only agrees with itself.
I haven't taken part in much of the post match analysis here, still hurts after losing to those bast@rds but unless people are going over the top why not allow them to air their views and grievances? Doesn't mean they don't support the team as much as those who can't even handle the slightest of criticism aimed at a player, manager, physio etc, justified or not.
As Alun said, what are we all on a forum for? Eg. If Kuyt's clearly not good enough to play for us should we all just start threads saying that he's the world's greatest footballer on the off chance that a journalist may be on here to report back to his bosses?

I'm being serious when I say this, you are very lucky if you're able to just put a home defeat agianst United to the back of your mind.Originally posted by fredo View PostI was bitterly disappointed with the result but straight away it was on the back of my mind.
For many of us, we just can't do that and losing to United hurts and the hurt lasts until we beat them the next time. And that's why you get some over reactions on here...but that doesn't compre to what you hear when you're at the stadium. Internet forums have nothing on terraces when it comes to abuse, knee jerk reactions and raw emotion.Last edited by desertscouser; 17-12-07, 08:35 PM.

Tom, what happened at that meeting the other night? you know the extraordinary one you said was happening at Anfield?.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
* After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

to be honest i expect no less than a slanging match in here every time we lose. If I'm being honest me and my brothers and our mates had one after the match in the Oakie!!
The jist of it was either we're not good enough and we're not getting better/we're OK but haven't got the cash or the team building infrastructure of the other 3 big clubs.
Let's face it we all get pissed off when we lose, and we all react in different ways. I'll even stick up for DJS' right to speak his mind after a game like this, but he must expect others to lay into him - after all he's held similar views after a lot of games recently [every disappointing one dare i suggest].
I've often felt that these forums were a bit 606ish with there flip-flop views, but after yesterdays game I'm having the same discussions with lots of match going Reds, so it's fair game TBH'Of course I didn't take my wife to see Rochdale as an anniversary present.
It was her birthday.
Would I have got married during the football season ?
Anyway, it was Rochdale reserves.'

I know it sounds melodramatic but it actually affects my mood for a good while when we lose a game, let alone to them.
I wish i COULD just switch off and put it to the back of my mind, but it just doesnt work.
