We played very well and didn't bottle anything. Can't even remember a save by Reina. All one way. They tried their hearts out. Just a shame Gerrard was ****e and Torres had an off day.

A point away to Citeh who are unbeaten at home isn't a bad result.

But with the scum losing and the chavs and arse winning it's a massive disappointment.

Anybody who tries to look for a scapegoat amoungst any of those players who played is a cunt of the highest order - just getting pre-emptive strike in there.

On another note, judging by that performance, Dunne is one of the very best CB's in the league. He was immense.

Would you shut the **** up that broken record already. We created clear cut chances and Citeh put in some great defending. Not having Ronaldinho, Messi, Kaka and Eto'o had nothing to do with it FFS !!!!

              Devasted.

Was our best away performance by a country mile.

Torres was very poor today. It's like he gave up after no joy against Dunne and Richards.

Aurelio was ****in fantastic today and Riise should never play when Fabio is fit.

One of those massively annoying games, and a pity we couldn't take advantage of Utd losing, especially as both Chelsea & Arsenal won.

However, hats off to Richards and Dunne especially, who didn't give our frontline a sniff.

Incredibly pissed off, but it's tough when teams put 10 men behind the ball and play for a point.

If Spurs want £20m for Berbatov then G&H should back Rafa if he want him of course before one of our rivals sign him and get even stronger.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

And when the chance falls on a plate for him, not only does he fail to score, but he gets in the way of two team mates who probably would've put it in the net. FFS i'm sick of seeing this lad, yes he works hard, blah blah...but that should be the most minimum of requirements.
Look I agree with you, he can be improved upon, but he played okay today.

A perfect example in one game of why we won't win the prem this season, we still aren't good enough, sooner we realise this the sooner we can work on thinking about next season

Indeed, but he isn't. Not sure what that shows.

We were, and are, decent. We are not a title winning team because we would win at least one game against a top team.

Torres was well marked throughout the game and couldn't shake them off.
                            Gerrard was playing too deep
                            Didn't see much from Kewell.
                            Ben-ya-noon played well.
Babel is a constant threat when he's used as a super sub.
                            Arbeloa had a shocker

Kuyt had a poor game in my opinion. Apart from not burying that header at the end, he lacked any confidence and whenever he receives the ball I just fill with dread. You know he's not going o do anything with it. I feel sorry for the lad but he's running out of time and I think he'll be gone in Jan. I honestly don't know why he stays on the pitch so long.

Just shows you can never write a player off. He was rubbish for Everton.

thought we showed City an awful lot of respect in the first half

Gerrard played very deep and we were relying on our wide players doing something from long sprayed balls

When we showed more attacking intent late in the second we really troubled them, but defensively they were solid.
