But you can't say that when the project is still 'in the works', isn't it ?Originally posted by DJS View PostHappens to every team, every team has 'one of those days'.
Some still win/challenge for the league.
Everyone can talk about what they're 'capable' of, but ultimately it means nothing if you dont actually produce what you're capable of.
It's a bit like a young player with 'potential'. Unless they realise their potential, they just end up as nobodies.
Good Night.

What does a meaningless horse racing analogy have to do with anything? You're reminding me of Houllier in his latter days when all he could come out with was some oddball nonsense, that nobody really made head nor tail ofOriginally posted by fredo View Post
In horseracing everything stops after the finishing line.

Do you *really* think that the only thing separating us from being champions is just luck?Originally posted by Johnny View PostI agree, poxy ManU would have scorred a deflection or tap in tonight,we don`t have that luck but that doesn`t fit the pessimist blame Rafa,Kuyt,Pennant,Risse and everyone else brigade.
Christ, there's none so blind...

You could use that excuse til the end of time.Originally posted by fredo View PostBut you can't say that when the project is still 'in the works', isn't it ?
Good Night.
Whatever happens, no matter how bad it might be, you can just say "Oh its ok, because we're still in the works".
And let's be honest, even you yourself can see how silly you sound - isnt it?
Sweet dreams.

Our home record is 4-5-1. (was it ever that bad even when we were ****e) That's simply not reflective of how dominant we've been vs Spurs, Chavski, Wigan and Birmingham. 1 draw you can accept as hard cheese, but 4! Painful.Quote of the year :

I think that we were unlucky not to beat Man City or Wigan we we destroyed both teams. It`s not the only factor but it plays it`s part when manU and Chelsea scrape through a higher percentage of games each season than we do.I expect a long winded answer, don`t bother,i`m entitled to believe we are unlucky based on the evidence.it`s my opinion, you can take it to pieces with a pedantic post but 20 people sat beside me today agreed.I know you`ll look for a scapegoat instead as usual.Originally posted by DJS View PostDo you *really* think that the only thing separating us from being champions is just luck?

You cant just put it down to 'luck'. Luck accounts for rare, out of the ordinary exceptions.Originally posted by disco View PostI'm just saying it's happened more to us than anyone else this year

Out of 20 games, we have only won 10.
That's mediocre.
