Although on reflection, earlier today I did recommend that a poster should stick their head in an industrial sized blender.

Brendan would have told them to switch it on though.

Hmmmm....I just haven't grasped this evil concept yet.

If we had won 4-0 yesterday my feelings would have been more or less the same. Not all reactions are knee-jerk ones after a disappointing result, some people has felt this way for a while.

If we had won 4-0 at vs the Scums at their place it would off course have been different. A result like that would mean that we could challenge the top teams, something I don`t see us doing. Some of the blame has to fall on Rafa, he hasn`t really got the grasp of the PL yet, and my fear is that he never will.

                  I'm voting 'Yes'!

                  I still believe!!!!

P.S. Not as firm a believer as I was though, but he's still the man!!

I strongly believe that we will win the league sooner with Rafa than with a switch of manager.

There may be some sort of mental block at the moment. Some of the blame has to fall on Rafa, he hasn`t really got the grasp of the PL yet, and my fear is that he never will. I don't think he has got the Premiership down to the extent of Wenger or Ferguson, but he's getting there.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

                      unequivocally, without question.

It's the players stupid - not the manager, with a better budget we'd have the players and with quality cover.

How much of a budget do you need to beat Wigan, Birmingham, Reading, Spurs etc etc.

The manager picks the players to buy, he coaches them, he decides on tactics, and he picks the team. He plays a part in the success and by the same token he plays a part in the failure. We laud Rafa for the CL and FAC yet it isn't his fault when we can't mount a proper PL challenge. What rubbish.

Simple question. Is he still the man for the job? Not "let's see where we are in the summer". Do you, TODAY, think he has a long-term future as LFC manager.
                          Yes:

Alonso, Mascherano, Torres, Babel, Agger, Benayoun, Lucas, Hobbs, Aurelio, Reina, Arbeloa plus a completely new bunch of quality kids at the academy and a reserve team at the top of the table with more quality than we've had at that level for years.

Whilst Rafa's selction and rotation policy is sometimes very bizarre and even more annoying he is building a club for the future in a mold not disimilar to what Wenger has done at Arsenal. The first team players listed above are all quality signings with torres and Mascher world class in my opinon and Mash, torres, Lucas, Leta, Agger and Hobbs only just into their 20's they are also young and can grow together, and lets not forget 2 European Cup finals.

I would prefer those ****ing yanks piss off than Rafa. Managers are sacked far too quickly these days, if Fergie'd been given as long as most managers are these days he would have left Manu in the early 90's.

We've spent far more than Villa, Portsmouth, Citeh and Everton, yet we're closer to them than we are the top. Fair enough our finances may prevent us taking the title, but if you want to blame it all on money then what's your excuse for us sitting amongst this lot then when we've spent far more?

so explain Manu losing to West Ham. We've a way to go yet but we are moving in the right direction and building a youth set up that will in the future allow us to spend our budget on one or two big players instead of 6 lesser ones.

These games happen, but over the course of a season the cream always rises to the top.

We're way off the pace already and people keep talking about progress but so far I see £40m + spent in the summer and 4 points more than last season, thats £10M a point!!!!
