Lady luck is not with us.Nothing to do with the manager or team who were faultless in the last two games.

Most "Fans" on here need to get a grip.

I really hope we win the CL Final for the second time in 4 yrs just to see our fairweather fans squirm.

    With respect mate, that's rubbish.

REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU THINK about the performances (which were not faultless - a fault at City, for a start, was that we failed to score a goal), the tide IS turning. Take a look around you. Listen to some of the more usually positive Reds whose faith is beginning to crack.

You might've noticed I voted 'yes'. Doesn't mean the tide isn't turning.

    BECAUSE IT IS.

And he'll assure me that we're still in the title race and that we'll win at Stamford Bridge, Highbury and Old Trafford, and that Voronin will perform like a cross between Maradona, Roger Hunt and Roy Race for the rest of the season. And I'll believe every word and go to sleep with a soppy grin on my face, as if I'd just been blown a kiss by Maria off Coronation Street.

But when I wake up, all the old nagging doubts come back and I admit I don't know what to think anymore. Really. I just don't know. And that, for me, is possibly the saddest thing of all.
Hahaha. So true. That probably sums it all up for me.

It would be interesting to see the results of another poll in a couple of weeks time if we won our next 3 games.

              Rafa would be king again.

It`s not in my circle of friends and i`d suspect the better posters on here are advoiding this circus until it calms down.I should have done the same myself.
I could predict the 20 posters who would definately be on here tonight after this result who wouldn`t bother if we`d won 6-0.
Thats this site and it`s knee jerk reaction to all things negative(Results,Ownership, management and player problems)

It`s unlike you to jump ship but the season`s not over and you`ll be back on our side if the others slip up.

Honestly Shaggy, it's a tough one, but I think Martin O'Neill. I'm sure I'll get slated for it but I think he has done really well on a first team squad of 17 players. Villa have few outstanding players yet seem motivated beyond belief. Belief would not be a problem, but I'm not sure about his tactical ability. We may have to wait a while again for European success (which I'd be prepared to sacrifice).

I'm not on about your mates or posters on here, I'm on about at the MATCH. In fact I'm on about at the match, on here, on RAWK (the ultimate RCDNW site?)....everywhere.

The team were BOOED OFF! What more evidence do you need? This never happens at Anfield.

I don't mean a 100% about-turn in opinion, but a lot of people who've supported Rafa unswervingly since day one are beginning to question whether or not he's right for the job.

I lost my faith over a year ago and though there have been times when I thought I might have been wrong there have also been underlying problems that have all too quickly come to the fore to cost us.

I desperately hope Rafa goes on to prove me wrong, I would gladly be made a fool of it meant he delivered #19. I just cannot see it happening.

I don't think they'd be much different. People are not doubting that Rafa is a good manager, they are just doubting whether he has enough in him to take LFC to the very top. It's hard for him in a foreign country and I think the jury has to be most certainly out now after a 4th (is it?) year without so much as a challenge

That would probably be true but we have a right to feel cheated and frustrated after the last couple of months with the results

Not beating Manure for the umpteened time and not been able to beat the other top 3 teams regularly is frustrating and we need to start beating them

I think it happened a couple of times at the end of the 2004 season just before Houllier left.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
