I loathe Maureen, would object to him being manager at LFC to such an extent that I'd seriously consider my season ticket, am a Rafa skeptic but feel it would be potentially disastrous for him to go anytime soon.

But that's just my view. If someone has a different take on it I'd rather put my point without resorting to calling people cunts. There's too much of all that on this site.

Well its not like we are in a Houllier-esque state of dispaer is it? We are what? 2 possibly 3 players away from a title winning side? We have sorted out the ressies/youth and are now a constant CL team, something we have never been. All our star players are the right side of 30, most under 25. Its all set up, so whoever comes in has to be better than Rafa dont they? They dont have an almighty mess and a squad full of ****e to sift thru, we have a ****in good squad so to improve on what we have can only be done by winning the league and that should come in 2 years tops. If it doesnt then the new man isnt taking us forward.

This surely means that if Rafa stays that you expect the league from him within 2 years too.

The only one i'd be truly ashamed of is the Anders Frisk one. I'd like to think, if Mourinho came to Anfield, that he'd have learnt his lesson on that count and it wouldnt happen again.

Two things I'd say to that

1) Leopard. Spots

2) How can we possibly appoint a manager who (at a conservative estimate) half of our supporters don't just dislike but actively loathe. It's just not sensible and the moment he had a glitch the crowd would be baying for his blood. It'd turn us into Newcastle United overnight.

I dont dispute that and of course Rafa's improved the squad hugely, there's no doubt.

But as i've said, that's not my gripe with him. My gripe is that now, having GOT a very good squad, he mis-uses it and it costs us points and a title challenge.

It's actually the very point that rafa HAS built a strong squad, that works against him - because with such a squad, there's expectancy. And he's not living upto it.

I dont think our squad is 15+ points worse than anyone in the PL.

But it's looking like we'll end up 15 points or more off the top.
That's underachieving and not good enough. And he cant argue that it's not his team now, he's had 3.5 years and it should be coming together better than it is.

I think thats a valid point and is my big concern about Rafa too.
