I named you because it's always you. You love saying I told you so. Every week, mate, every week it's the same with you.Originally posted by DJS View PostFeck off scott, what else is there to say about that? It was ****e and we're stating facts. I like the way you only name me though, that's unlike you...
As far as Rafa's concerned, if you think we 'revel' in ****e performances, then you're being a fool. Ultimately though, it's a results business and no matter how much we love Rafa as a man and a character, he ISNT getting the results. Sticking your head in the sand doesnt change the facts.
I'm not sticking my head in the sand. We were ****e today and I said so but you just seem to want Rafa's head on a platter, mate.

I support the club, not one single individual - but the club as a whole.Originally posted by kurtangle01 View PostI'm not making excuses. We were poor. What astonishes me is how many of these 'fans' on here are happy to have a go at every turn.
Why don't they just come out and say they want the manager replaced because that's how it reads to me.
Instead they come out with all this 'I support the manager but he has to change his ways'. What a load of old ****e. If you think he should be changing his ways you clearly don't support him.
I want Rafa to succeed, if you genuinely think otherwise, then i question your intelligence.
Ultimately, i want the club to challenge for top honours on a consistent basis and much as i like Rafa, if he is failing to achieve that, then yes, i'd prefer someone who could do better.
If you're happy with performances like today, then there's something wrong. If the team continues to under-perform, i'm not sure how you can still back the manager and yet claim to want the best for LFC. Because he's clearly not producing it, is he?

He doesnt have to have been TOLD, for the yanks to have already decided.Originally posted by Kopite_Colin View PostI don't believe Rafa's gone for one second. The man has too much dignity. if he thought he was out in the summer, he'd walk. I don't believe he would hang around just for a pay-off. I know 1.5m for half aseason is a lot of money but Rafa doesn't need it.
They want to make sure we're in the CL next season and anyone can see rafa can (and will) achieve that. They arent going to upset the apple cart in the meantime by telling him he's gonna be sacked in the summer.

I said we were ****e but look at the bigger picture, mate. What happened to supporting the cluband the people in it in times of need, eh? Some fans just call for people heads a bit to early.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Today was ****e. You just said it yourself. However, when i say the same, i'm not showing support. I support the club and Rafa isnt delivering. I want the club to do the best that it can and if the current man is failing in that job, then i want someone who can succeed.
You seem to be content with fighting for 4th place. I'm not.
It could be argued that people who are happy with things as they are dont care enough - but you dont find me questioning YOUR support.
Yet you go round questioning the support of others.
Classy stuff.

Enlighten me as to this 'bigger picture' because all i can conclude is that when Rafa took over, we were 4th best in the country and now, 3 and a half years later, we're the 4th best in the country.Originally posted by kurtangle01 View PostWhere did I say I was happy with the performance today? We havent come any closer to CHALLENGING for the title and the biggest frustration isnt even that, it's the fact that we have the tools to be doing MUCH better, but rafa continues to shoot himself in the foot with misplaced faith in mediocre players, baffling positional decisions and systems, and stubborn refusal to change things when they badly need changing.
By nodding your head and continuing to back this methodology, you're indirectly saying it's good enough. Because if you think it's not good enough, you'd want something to change.
So which is it? Are things good enough as they are? Or not?
You tell me.

We shouldn't be able to challenge Man U and Chelsea because we can't compete with them in the transfer market. Arsenal will be the next team we can't compete with and maybe even City.Originally posted by DJS View PostEnlighten me as to this 'bigger picture' because all i can conclude is that when Rafa took over, we were 4th best in the country and now, 3 and a half years later, we're the 4th best in the country.

That means that fourth place will be a realistic goal if Rafa isn't backed in the transfer market.
If we finish higher than that then it's a very good result. Of course I want us to win the title but that isn't realistic and it's unfair to expect that we should win the league until we can match the big teams in the transfer market.Just believe and you never know what will happen.

We've finished 3rd for the past 2 seasons. This season's not finished yet. Are you saying you got one of them crystal balls from TJ's before they sold out and you know we're going to finish 4th? Can you tell me where I can get one from, my kids were so disappointed when Father Christmas didn't give them one. That's the one...

1. Too many of our players are out of form/low on confidence at the same time. Add Sami and Alonso coming back from injury and being off the boil, and we look crap.
2. Sad that our defence is so slow that we have to sit so deep. Our team was overstretched as a result.
3. Kuyt and Crouch does not work. Rafa should know this by now. NO DYNAMIC with them.
4. Taking off Babel, our only pacy player on the pitch....
5. Depressing, but we will beat them easily at Anfield. Another good runout for fringe players, and Luton get the bob they were crying for.--== Because the gang and the government is no different ==--

Obviously he was saying what he 'thinks'. I hardly claimed he was sitting there with a crystal ball in mystic meg regalia.
