When is the last time you've seen us play flowing football? We are currently a team whose defenders hoof the ball from the back and still have no width, despite harping on for years that we need quality wingers. We are set up primarily not to concede and frankly, it's dreadful to watch.

Only the Academy brings me some hope but, let's face it, we've seen it before with the so-called "gems" under Houllier!
well your entitled to your opinion fella

    even though its a **** one:bird:

Rafa should be afforded the time to complete his project and we should be backing him in the same way as ferguson was. His credentials are superb and almost every top manager in world football holds him, and his ability in the highest regard.

We're not ****ing Newcastle, we're Liverpool, we have dignity and ALWAYS back our own. What the **** has happened/is happening?
That Cup treble really was devastating. Remember it was Houliier who put the academy in place. He, like Rafa, did a lot for this club. How long will this rebuilding take, 10, 15 years? Cos someone will need to tell Gerrard and Carragher that they may never see a title. Or is it simply that we need owners who are richer to give us the right 20m players?

Well, Kuyt, Crouch and Voronin isn't any improvement on Cisse, Baros and Pongolle.

So Rafa has only improved us on one position upfront. Torres in and Owen out.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I reckon it's going to take more than 6 months under new owners. Maybe even until we have had a couple of years in a stadium giving us a much larger, sustainable income, with a proper merchandising infrastructure.

As I said in a previous post, we're not ****ing Newcastle.

Dont get me wrong Kev, i'd love to win it too.

BUT, 3 and a half years and £140m later, no title challenge, no latter stages of the CL and an FA Cup seems to be a bit of short change to me.

Houllier was great in the cups, ultimately he was a failure. Rafa needs to challenge for the title otherwise he'll go the same way.

I happen to think that STILL being the same as what we were under GH (a good cup side and nothing else) is what's ****e.

If not, we're crying out for a special one aren't we. Throughout our history we've always had a manager who's been more important than the team.

DJS, I respect you and sometimes you talk sense, but sometimes you're a total ****.
                  Thanks

You know your football well enough to realise how irrelevent the money is once they're on the pitch.

                        Rafa obviously

But if our team cant motivate themselves for a cup game then there's not much point in playing the top players
Contrary to popular belief, I have huge genitals.

Scott barely bothers to read what i post nowadays, let alone interpret it properly.

He just sees my username and goes for the throat.

I look forward to seeing him have a pop at my next post "we play in red"...

You actually followed the link? I've blocked it with the parental controls, modified the hosts file on my pc so it points nowhere and reported it to all the big spam companies already.
