      I was being sarcastic.

Also, yeah I know rafa is there to motivate but ultimately they have to go out and perform and they didn't.
RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFAEL BENITEZ!

With the squad we have, winning the FA Cup ALONE and not CHALLENGING for the title is not good enough.

It's not fecking rocket science scott...although you have an incredible knack of making it seem complicated.

He was made to be a director of football, not a football manager.

You (deliberately?) miss my point though and conveniently use semantics to further your agenda.
Houllier buy in the last couple of years were abysmal but we are still not cleaning his mess by any means. May I know who are this Houlliers mess which I am not aware of

In our first team Carra, Finnan and Hyppia???

Kewell still our most dangerous Left Winger. Or Risse who for all his faults plays a significant amount of games coz we still havent found a significantly better alternative.

But if our team cant motivate themselves for a cup game then there's not much point in playing the top players
Why do people think the players will automatically be 'up for' a ****ty trip to a ****ty ground to play a 'little club' ?

It's no surprise that sometimes players cant be arsed with games like today's. That's where a manager earns his money though.

It's his job to make sure that Luton away means just as much to them as Man Utd or Everton. Didnt seem to happen though. The buck stops with one man. People keep saying 'blame the players, its their fault' - fine. But who buys and picks them?

Whichever way you dress it up, the manager has the power to DROP those players, if they're so off the mark. He keeps persisting with them though, the likes of Kuyt for example. There's no logical reason for it. Either he shapes them up or he ships them out. He's doing neither.

You said that it wouldn't cut it. That's your words.

I'd love to see us challenging for the league title but I thought at the start of the season that we might be a year or two away. I suppose it's about perspective.

Winning something is a sign of success to me.

I bet you'd still be celebrating if we won it though, eh?

Kewell who has spent most of his liverpool career injured is as you say our best left sided winger clearly rafa hasn't improoved the squad too much nor does he seem keen to add an attacking dimension to our game

Only then in my mind will he have had a decent ammount of time to truly turn the club into HIS club and have had all his ideas bedded in place.

Then I will sit down and see where we are going with him. I suspect by then we will be going very high places with him.

Every season under him i have seen improvents in us of some sort and while this is happening i`m happy.

There is nobody else out there that can do the job better IMO.

You're right. He's trying to destroy any element of attacking football and turn us into Bolton.
                        That's the one...

Yeah, winning the cup alone and not challenging for the league or having a good run in the CL WOULDNT cut it for me - put simply, we're BETTER than that. Or dont you think so? Do you think we're just ****e and should be getting the bus out for an FA Cup triumph?

I just saw the Rafa post match interview, not since Kenny have I been this emotionally attached to our manager, I sincerely hope that those yank muppets dont sack him because its plain to see hes got the necessary passion to turn this around, hes got the expertise for sure. Keep Rafa please.

I think we have the makings of an excellent side and will soon be challenging. I also think that any cup win should be celebrated.

He has the passion, but he doesnt seem to have the ability to accept he's wrong about some of the mediocre players and the compulsion to rotate when it's not the way to go (i mean with regards to some specific games, as opposed to generally speaking).
