    I know?

I only pointed it out for someones who don't think that money now decides if you are a top club or not.

Liverpool FC is giant club but we will drop down the table if the manager isn't backed. We won't finish higher up the table just because we are Liverpool FC.

I would love it if we could go back 25-30 years when money wasn't the overall deciding factor but we can't.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

You can agree with me, or you can be wrong.

Yes i am sure that Mourinho will be our manager next season, based on a combination of a hunch and a couple of different snippets of info i've received (one of which i posted on here).

He's the best candidate simply because he's a born winner, he's totally driven, he has an obscene amount of confidence, to the point where the prospect of failing seems beyond the realms of possibility for him. He gets that same confidence into his players and they perform for him.

Today was as emphatic an example as ever that our current players arent playing for rafa.
Oay, fair enough. In your view.

I know you've said a thousand times that it's not a popularity contest and to that extent I agree.

Just imagine for a minute though he does get the job. How would he get on with the yanks? If Rafa speaking out is enough for them to fire him what would life be like with Mourinho? He's worse than Rafa.

Also, ask yourself what you would think if you we're at Anfield and you were watching some of our players roll around after a weak challenge as if they'd been shot. How would you feel when all the papers were slating our players for this sort of thing like they did with the chavs?

Rafa spoke out because they didnt see eye to eye on monetary issues.

IF they appoint Mourinho, i'm sure they'll make sure they've reached an understanding with him beforehand. They didnt appoint rafa, they inherited him. It's different if they're appointing the manager.

It might be that they simply dont trust rafa's judgement and therefore, they obviously wont back him financially. If they trusted JM's judgement, it's different isnt it? In which case, he may have no reason to speak out about the same things Rafa has done. It's all speculative.

As for players rolling around, i wouldnt particularly like it, but i also dont like being 5th in the table and being embarrassed by Luton.

It's not a perfect world, there's always things we wont like. We've done the 'nice losers' bit, i'm willing to see how 'unpopular champions' feels.

Just the bit I cut out!

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

That will lost until Jose throws his toys out if the pram as he did at Chelsea. He thought he had an endless wallet to empty, overspent on good players and moaned when the well dried up.

He has form and he will be the same wherever he goes.

I know. What a travesty having 2 **** players forced on you like that.

Mourinho's problem stem from the Cashley Cole saga. Had they kept Gallas they would have won the title last season as they would have had proper cover for the problems with Terry and Carvalho.

Disagree with that AF. Are you saying Belletti, Joe Cole, Wes Brown, Michael Carrick etc are world class?

Say what you will, if the manager cant choose his own team, you cant expect him to succeed.

Neither of those players has looked the part in england.
