If the yanks really only cared about results, they would do their utmost to provide Rafa and the players with the best environment and circumstances to get on with their jobs. At the moment, they're failing miserably to do that.
    Nail on head.

At the end of the day i can see everyone wishing Rafa was still here before long. Everyone.

Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I wonder how many offers/overtures/interest from other clubs (and big clubs at that) Rafa has knocked back over the years, in the first instance when joining us, and subsequently when he's decided to stay? In the past he's probaby been promised the earth, the moon and the sun to stay, and most of those have probably turned out to be empty promises.

The man has showed the club and it's fans a lot of love, respect, dedication, loyalty. It's time for us to show him our support, not dance on his grave before he's even been buried and pray for the messiah that is Mourinho to descend from the heavens to lead us to #19.

I don't think Rafa has lost the dressing room, but there have been games (slightly too many) when after about 5mins you can see that the players just are not up for it.
That being said Rafa can make tactical changes to change the game but I just don't know if he can deliver a right bollocking at half time to get the players going.

Of all the overanalysis after every draw, defeat, poor performance, perceived **** up, the skewing of history, the failure to appreciate what we've got etc over the last few weeks, what you've posted is the simple honest truth. Very well said. The slating he's been given at best ridiculous, at worst and in some cases, inexcusable.
