It`s like everything else on this site. It`s how you choose to interpret it.the doom mongers will twist it and people like me will see is as it is.the owners had no plans to sack Rafa and made contingency plans incase he walked.
I haven't seen such naivety for a loooooooong time.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Well, that's a great vote of confidence. And to admit it in front of the press, is even better ! How blessed we are to have such 'open' owners.
Remember Spurs and Levy courting Juande Ramos? They got caught with their pants down and said "Oh no, this had nothing to do with the manager's job...it was about something else. Martin Jol's position is not under threat..." etc etc.
I understand you're trying your hardest to remain positive but in reality mate you're just being unbelievably naive.
No I`m not,I`m just refusing to be hysteric because somebody posted a quote from the Echo on the internet.i`ll let the dust settle before I make a full judgement.
Didn't you read the article and form an opinion for yourself ?
No, I hadn't read the article, obviously. If they had lined up Klinsmann as an insurance policy I could understand that, but admitting anything about it is shocking.

Sorry thought you were being sarcastic.
Well, they could have simple diffused the situation by backing Rafa or even given him a new contract just to prevent him from going.
And why on earth would Rafa want to go ?? Real Madrid are doing pretty well with Schuster, and LFC is / was a dream job for him, if you believe what he said numerous times.
I just think that they are driving him out of this club.

Whether they are trying to drive him out or they were just buying an insurance policy I don't really know, but saying this has made it all but impossible for him to stay, that is for sure.

They've got what they wanted. Either they're idiots, or they simply don't want him here.
Either way, they have to go. It's a total disaster.

They won't be going anywhere without realising some profit, Benitez will unfortunately. Why does that idiot Hicks have to open his fat yap? Every time he does it's a ****ing disaster.
The uncertainty from the owners is not a good thing for the club but it's quite frankly ludicrous to suggest it is to blame for Rafa's questionable team selections and formations that have seen us losing any kind of flow to our game. If he was using the players he has now properly then his position would be more secure because the results would make it that way.
Frankly, it's quite ludicrous to suggest that the turmoil behind the scenes has had nothing to do with poor performances on the pitch - regardless of team selection.
In my opinion, any judgement of Rafa and the team's performances this season must be made in the light of the ructions being caused by the owners.
In fact, it's remarkable we've managed to perform to a level where we've still only lost 2 league games, given what we now know has been going on.

Hysteric? Noone's hysteric, just realistic. If this is true, why did G&H let this go on for so long?
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24
I happen not to trust the 2 people running the club. The evidence of this, being that they've done more reversals than an italian tank driver. There's your evidence for you, stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
Your desire to believe what these 2 lying, greedy neo-con ****s are saying is very touching.
Agree
And I love your avatar mate! Pure class that is

This thread would be funny as **** to read if it wasnt about something so serious. Johnny your anti Rafa stance has been apparent for weeks now. You always choose to shoot down any information your given and argue the opposite.
You have been given information from the horses mouth by Hicks and yet you still try to argue the opposite waiting for the 'dust to settle'. What more do you want? You are making a fool of yourself with this stance. The yanks are here to **** us and Rafa over end of.
