Liverpool debt dispute forces Americans to consider sale
I jus twish things would go like you say, Darkon, and I somehow hope (and sense in the way they act), that a possible takeover by the DIC-people could somehow reestablish that situation. Things done and dusted - and then told to the press - transfers done and dusted - and then told to the press - managers stepping down when telling the press after mutual agreement etc. Thats the Liverpool Way we so miss!!!
exactly mate, it is sickening the way things are handled at the moment, and how the team and manager can't focus enterily on the most important part the actual game...
For me it is getting tiresome, and I'd wish we could get this all resovled and get back to discussing football again - whether that be DIC takeover or not...
A work colleague had some interesting info for me last night.
They claim that the reason the stadium plans have been revised is not JUST because H&G can't afford the new stadium and want to put money into the team, but, because H&G want out and DIC has stipulated that H&G have to sort the stadium design out first, to a budget determined by DIC, so that when DIC take over, they are not the ones to come out and say we're not building that space ship stadium H&G wanted. They did say a deal had been agreed in principle though.
Some of you will know the source of this info. Take it with as much scepticism as you like. I'm happy to take the flack if you want to have a pop
I am aware that he passed it on...but its difficult to take internet rumours seriously without a source, althought I know full well its often impossible to provide a source.
There will be no irrational analysis as far as DIC are concerned. Business and money all the way. The only good thing about them is there are prepared to spend to achieve success and hence profitability
An ex-player passed it on to her, I've no probs with you not taking it seriously though redheart, makes no difference to me but I hope that's your curiosity satisfied.
Dunno mate, I'm not really accustomed to interrogating someone
She told me the information, I wasn't going to bother posting it as I didn't think it was particularly well founded but it tied in with this thread so I added it.
Anyway, don't worry yourself over it, whether it's true or not it will all become clear in time
