The delay is the wrangling with Moores and Parry who have legal documents that won't allow these two to put the purchase debt back on the cub. If it happens then take it that Moores has gven up in the case.

As for the matter of days comment - well it is... something big is brewing but it might not come off.
Isn't all that from a newspaper article that is a few pages earlier on this thread.

I am pretty good with the chap in the papers closest to this saga (a finance chap) in fact the Times and The Telegraph both published my poll from TLW in the last 2 days. So one thing I don't need to do is get the info the next day in the papers. I have tried my damdest to keep the fans views in the press.

blacky - The yanks got in on the back of several legally made promises - in fact they promised the world and Moores fell for it.. but its up to Moores whether he acts or not.

The future of the club will be decided in the next few days. DIC of course are still here and still talking to Parry and Gillett.

I don't think it sounds far fetched in the least. I was thinking about this the other day, quite surprised that no one on here has mentioned it actually.

I know people are slagging Moores and Parry off which is understandable, but I really can't see them not having some sort of legal document saying that G&H can't put debt against the club.

It's common sense, Moores and Parry are both business men at the end of the day and they both care massively for this club, they may have been greedy but I'm 100% sure that they wouldn't have wanted to put the club in debt.

Just look at the Heinze saga, it's exactly the same thing isn't it? Legal wranglings etc.

Jesus Christ, this could me massive if this is the case. This brings a major twist to things and changes the whole scenario completly.

Thought it was just promises and couldn't be legally enforced. I'm sure I read it like that but am willing to be corrected.

So the situation rigth now is like:

H&G did take out loans to buy the club at 217.5M£ - and did themself carry the burden of them.
They now want to take out a renewed loan, this time first said to be 350M£ - now it is 320M£ - ALL against the club. The 30M£ were meant to start the stadiumbuilding.

Now the interest of the 320M£ would burden the club with abt. 20M£/year - just the club! This loan has nothing to do with the new stadium - only H&Gs buying of the club.

IF (and I say IF!!!) they should build the stadium, they would take out another loan of abt. 300M£ with interest of abt. 18-20M£/year MORE. This would mean that IF there sould come a stadium built as long as H&G owns the club, then it would cost 38-40M£/year!! And that would have to be taken from the annual turnover....

It would not take long time to sell S. Gerrard, F. Torres, D. Agger, J. Carrager .... and ...
and maybe most of the youngsters would be first-team players in a year or two. 14-15 years old boys from all over the world would target LFC as the place to start their carreer, as they would be allowed to play in the first team so fast - and only a few freebees and oldboys (Molby-like - sorry, he were my first LFC-Hero from DK) would be left.

........... somehow I hope that these leeches will be burned off from OUR club!!
                - - - - -

                You will never walk alone

He might well be right in everything he says and tells us, and thats fine and dandy, but I've just got this thing about me views being assumed by some half wit.

That's the kind of "concrete" evidence you're always bleating about though isn't it? Fact is this:

If the credit crunch hasn't affected them, why are they scrabbling about for loans?

Of course they could be lying....

That is the scary thing though. For so long he has been a joke with his over reactions and now he represents the majorities views.

I think you have to take it in context, mate. He wasn't specifically saying that it's 'your views' but I think it's fair to say that it represents the views of the majority of fans.
