May be more info will be forthcoming. May be DIC will takeover and we'll have 12 months of happiness before we realise nothing's changed.
Sorry mate, I would have thought the fans concerns are fairly apparent.

All of us pretty much, me included. I'm naturally cautious and skeptical (these days) of gossip. A lot of people wouldn't accept the Americans no matter what they did which after some of the events of recent months is fair enough but it does hinder objective judgment of what is happening now IMO.

These people are manipulators of the highest order, you have to be in America with all the lobbying that goes on.

Thats fair enough it may well not work. I suspect it won't in the sense that I doubt they are going to come out with straight answers but relatively neutral questions can gain interesting answers if people feel comfortable (like when Hicks dropped the Klinnsman bombshell) and the worst that can happen is another dull article/interview.

THAT WAS A GRENADE, THE REAL BOMBSHELL WILL BE REVEALED WHEN THEY ANNOUNCE WHO ELSE THEY SPOKE TOO

They didn't offer the job to AFII did they?

I take it that Jose is the name yet to be revealed? Or was it an audacious bid for Fergie or Wenger - that would make the discussion interesting again

              That's all true.

I think I am one of those people who wouldn't accept the Americans no matter what and however irrational it sounds, I would rather not be objective if that is what it takes to safeguard against susceptibility to PR and ultimately, apathy.

Like many, I feel in the pit of my stomach that these men are no good for this club and they will never get another chance from me. Not the way I feel right now.

See what you mean, but it's impossible to get an answer on the debt as they won't discuss it. The Klinsmann mistake when he was asked about the rafa situation in an interview.

How will you get him to talk about money, when we're not allowed to?

TH "I'd have got away with it, if it wasn't for such a neutral question. DAMN YOU DWW, DAMN YOU"

Is that how you picture it in your head? Go on.........Is it?...........I'm close though, yeah?

Your right, but that's only on a par with Klinsman or arguably marginally better, Revo is implying it's much worse.

Don't want him anywhere near the club but at least he has some managerial credentials, albeit he can't sustain success.

Given who he manages for and the obvious connections to Gillet,Steve Nicol?

The club has a fixed value based on its combined assets and potential future earnings, based on long and short term projections. Up until we move in to the new stadium the clubs value will most likely remain static, although it may be boosted about a year beforehand.

The only thing that may raise is the value someone is willing to pay for the club, and this would be down to a willingness to make a business decision on the value of an assest and its potential future earnings. I personally think that there is noway DIC would have ever dreamed about paying the £500m that was first reported, because frankly it makes no sense financially. The Shiek would have had to have been on the crack pipe to consider it, unless it was an emotive takeover which is different and has no bearing on the actual value of the club.
Matter of opinion mate. Fast forward 5 or 10 years and every Premier League club may have it's own TV deal. Liverpool then can flog the home matches to 5 million fans worldwide for a fiver each. 25mill a game. What's our club worth then? Liv, Ars, Man Utd And the Chavs occupy nearly all of the TV as it is. IMHO it's only a matter of time before the rest get cut adrift.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

I think the thing is I'm not as worried by the debt as some. It is how we run while servicing the debt that concerns me and their undermining of the manager. Arsenal had/have a load of debt as do United but they appear at least at face value to be managing it well.

On Thursday night there’s a meeting of various people involved in LFC websites, fanzines, associations, clubs and so on to discuss what can be done to continue putting the pressure on the owners. I’m hoping to be there too. If you’ve got any ideas on showing the owners that this battle goes on, that we won’t be lied to, that we want our club back, if not completely then at least in the hands of owners who think winning might be more important than “fan affinity”, then please either leave them as a comment under this article, or post them on one of the forums of the sites supporting the LFC Supporters Network.
