I have two young boys though and I dread to think what might happen if I didn't shower them with reds gear after every visit to Anfield.

Shrinks won't stop them following the scum or the chavs though. Peer pressure at school is massive. Only my biased brainwashing can influence them more

'Football is a simple game based on the giving and taking of passes, of controlling the ball and of making yourself available to receive a pass. It is terribly simple.'
I always think back to December 2000 when we humiliated Arsenal 4-0 at Anfield. They were ****e and we were great. Yet they won the league a year or two later and we are still foundering.
The fact that we've finished ahead of Arsenal for the last two years and there has been minor turnaround regarding personel with both sides. In fact we've now got a world class striker and they've lost one. The fact that they are where they are and we are where we are suggests that our problem MAY lie somewhere other than with the playing staff. Could it be something to do with our manager's tactics or rotation policy or his ability to motivate players? Or is it all Tom Hicks' fault? Or is it because they've got the best manager in the world albeit without a trophy to show for it in three years nearly. I'm puzzled and undecided either way.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

I was over for Villa on Monday and staying near the club shop in town. It is so much easier to get stuff there and dump it in the hotel instead of going to the match and q'ing in a scrum and having to carry the gear with you before and after the match.
For what its worth my opinion is that DIC still want LFC and G&H will have a figure in mind at which they'd be happy to sell. The split between G&H gives DIC some serious leverage and I'd be very surprised if G&H were still here in say 2 years. The problem is though is just how much all this effects matters on the pitch. IF LFC missout on CL footy, will G&H look at selling players to meet the interest payments. My guess is yes they will.

The one major difference in those two seasons where we finished above Arsenal and this season is Pako Ayesteran. All the players respected him and thought really highly of him.
It must of affected something.

no one can tell me that everything thats gone on hasnt had some affect on the squad.
tbh its a wonder weve only lost 2 league games, credit to the team for that.
