      Its nailed on then!

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

I do not believe that Rafa has been supported enough to compete with Manu and Chelsea, but he has been given more than enough money to make 3rd place comfortably (and by that I mean a genuine fight for 3rd or 4th way ahead of the trailing groups).

There is now a big 3, not a big 4.
There's a big 3, then there's us. we will still finish 4th regardless of who took over at this point.

I still think Rafa deserves one more season, but the uncertainty regarding his position needs to disappear.

          Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez:

"We had chances but couldn't take them.

"We started really well and in the second half we had a lot of possession and to lose following a counter attack in the final minute is disappointing.

"For them to score from a penalty so late on was terrible. We now need to think about the next game."

Just for once I'd like Rafa to be honest and say he was dissapointed in a performance

They wheel out the Rafa-bot for these interviews, same old crap no matter who and how the team play.
                We come not to play.

                  Same old, same old...

Is this from an interview on TV or did you read it somewhere mate?

That was awful, there was no effort from the players , Kuyt , Kewell are not up to the required standard

I think that Rafa has lost the dressing room as there was no fight out there, he needs to go but it will be the summer when we get someone suitable.

Crouch and Babel need to be starting more games and put Kuyt and Kewell in the reserves, I feel sorry for Crouch what did he do to be treated this way, when week after week Kuyt fails to deliver. I would even bring someone like Nemeth into the squad, I cant do any worse than Kuyt

What an awful night, down to 7th at this rate we will be lucky to make the UEFA Cup.

We are on the road to glory, it's supposed to be a Rafalution, ****in Ronaldo the ******, i hate the ****, What the hell happened to our season, we better shape up soon if we're to win old big ears again. But i believe we will, some stern talking will be done in house now & hopefuly it'll pass, an FA & Euro Double.
Blaming the yanks can only be stretched so far ffs - something else is up within the club and i don't think it's the owners tbh. If anything rafa being undermined by the owners should have had the opposite effect on the team to what we're seeing now, i'd have thought it would have galvanized the players and that they would have played their hearts out to keep the manager in his job!!
But why aren't they?? Do the players want Rafa to stay?
If i was to answer my own question using tonights performance i'd have to say no...
Take the chavs as an example! they loved maureen with a passion he won them the title he brought a togetherness to them that they never had before; then he was sacked and they replaced him with Herman Munster and look at them now! there missing a good few players through injury and the anc but they are still playing for their manager and grinding out results, and at the same time leaving us trailing in their dust!!! Why don't we have that sort of mentality? it has to be down to a lack of confidence in the manager imo he's struggling big time and either he gets help or he has to go!!!
I don't care as long as we finish above the blue ****e

Rafa is well known not to be the best man manager, and that looks to be exactly what some of our players are missing. They seem to have no confidence in their own ability, 2/3 of the team dont know wether they will be playing from one week to the next.

I have a feeling that our Captain for one, is not his biggest fan.
