That depends, when he is not interested he is REALLY not interested, just look at his scoring rate at his last Juve season. Very capable but his attitude is so destructive.

We were OK last year and we didn't have Torres. We won the Champions League with Baros as our sole attacker. Getting our season kick-started again is the big concern at the moment.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

IMO this season depends on all the other players. We know Torres and Gerrard will deliver, but its not enough. We need all the others to step up. If they do, we wont need Torres and Gerrard to come up with some magic for us to win games.

We didn't sign another quality attacking player so we will now have to hope that he stays fit the whole season. If he gets injured then it's bye, bye CL next season.

Would be frightening to be left with Kuyt, Crouch and Voronin as options upfront.

Hmmm strange how we finished 3rd last year with Kuyt and Crouch (mainly) up front.

Totally different set of scenarios, though.

Most components of the team were working well last year - Kuyt did okay, Crouch did well, the back five were very mean and we mainly played with confidence.

We also didn't have such a dramatic set of circumstances off the field to put up with.

Now we have no confidence, no apparent attacking plan or idea, suddenly can't defend, chaos off the field and a set of players who largely don't seem to want to play for the manager (IMO ).

To lose Torres, our most potent attacking threat by a mile, allied to this set of dire circumstances, would leave us up against it.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Arse will be ****ed without fabergas, united without Ronaldo......I know ewhat your saying AF, but its far to simplistic to simply say that. We have players capable of raising thier game and doing the job.

I know that we have other players that can step up but the problem is that they should have done that a long time ago but they have not even worked their socks off on the pitch.

Torres is one of very few players that always give 100%. I really hope that Rafa will do a big clear out in the summer because a lot of our players have showed that they don't deserve to play for us.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Torres, like the rest of them, needs to stop playing like a cunt.

The team needs to get back to the basics.

We are partly where we are because we haven't been able to defend a lead and have also struggled going forward at times when we have had a goal lead and looked to kill a game off.

If we could keep a clean sheet, we might not be happy with things but at least we would be in a better position.
