    Jermaine Pennant

    Worked his socks off.

He was our only outlet for much of the game, ran up and down the line the whole 90 minutes, delivered a peach of a cross for Crouch, and a few others.

    Great performance IMO.

Complete bollox mate. I thought he was fecking dreadful.
So much of the ball - and did so little except for that one cross.
IMO he needs to improve - and big time.

        H is right again.

I said on another thread : Pennant is a waste of skin.

And I stand by that comment. If we can get 2 million in January, I'd take it.
rnm is funny, funny like funny haha.

FFS, he got plenty of crosses in, it's up to our forwards to attack the ball, he's not going to put it right on their head every time now is he, and yet when he does Crouch heads it right at the ****ing keeper with no power or anything. Probably owuldn't of mattered if he got any decent crosses in the way our ****in forwards finish.

He did get plenty of crosses in you're right but only one was half decent.

                He did work hard.

Against WHU thought he was great but always have the feeling he's missing that bit of class that's needed against the top defenders.
Could be a confidence thing, need a cross to go in.

For a winger to have so much of the ball he should be causing more problems.

Better than what we had last year.

Exactly, he's just treading water at LFC. Same as he did at Arsenal. This is his second chance and he doesn't seem to give a ****.

He doesn't deserve a third chance, bin him to Sheffield Wednesday or soemone like that.

He had a mixed game I think, don't think he's good enough for LFC, all that said he was one of the better players on the pitch, and that's not saying much about the rest of the team. **** performance all round I'd say.

He just isn't good enough. He got so much of the ball, but just cannot create enough opportunities. He isn't worth 8million.

its about time Rafa played to our strengths....

Gerrard MUST play in the middle next game, with Xabi.

Pennant needs to start taking players on, not running 20 yards then passing 15yeards back.

Kuyt needs 4 touches on the ball whenever he gets it.

Carra and Agger were class today.

If pennant doesn't start to deliver, why not stick Zenden, Speedy even Finnan out there.

I just posted this on SCM...

"He was the worst player on the pitch today, by an absolute distance, overhit crosses, misplaced passes, he even ****ing fell over every ten mins or so, in short he was useless.

The worst thing is, he knows it too, he knows he's lucky to be with us, he knows he's not good enough, he knows he doesn't have the ability to drop his shoulder, skin Ashley Cole and chuck a half decent ball in the box, so the most adventurous thing he does is a five yard ball back down the line to Finnan. I genuinely cant see him scoring one goal all season.

Getting angry with the ref, swinging your arms about and muttering '**** off' under your breath just makes you look even more like the childish, stupid little criminal-scally you really are Jermaine.

The annoying thing is, his positioning is good. He gets the ball in decent positions out wide then just ****s up, no wonder Bellamy was annoyed to be replaced instead of Pennant.

Maybe his only saving grace, is that Aurelio and Zenden looked even worse when they came on, at least they were free though.

                          Seven. Million. Pounds.

                          Oh. Dear. Rafa."

Zenden aint a winger and left footed
Speedy is a winger and left footed
Finnan aint a winger and no back up.

Only Stevie can play out there and maybe Kuyt. Any left side player will come in field and against the Chav's that would be playing inot their hands.

Would of like to see SPeedy on today with both wings trying to pull the chav's defence out wide.
