The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
people saying that, I assume the lad's having a good season for the reserves, what's his record like?

Im all for resting Torres and maybe one or two others for this one but a word of caution.
This is a mid table Championship side we are playing, not a non-league side (we even struggled against non-league opposition). They are above Sheffield Untied, Coventry and Southampton in the table. They will not be a walk over. We will still need a strong side to make sure we see them off. I would start with some of the big guns and try to get a decent half time lead under our belts then take off our "stars" (fading stars some of them!) once the game is in the bag:
In the big cup games Rafa likes to go for the jugular early. To surprise the opposition. Witness Kewell in Athens instead of Didi.
I think he may start with a 4-4-2 against Inter. We will know at the weekend. If all 3 are rested, I'm wrong.
Probably not all three, no. Perhaps though.
Either way, i'm sure rafa would like to feel as though all three are guaranteed to be 100% fit and available for selection, even if he's only likely to use two of them.
