I honestly beieve what we are seeing now is an orchestrated changeover. GG agreed about 88 days ago. That's why rumours of the Inter game being decisive were about. Hicks is ****ed but he came on board as long as he gets to go out in a good light. Hence why Rafa has played along.

DIC will be in control soon IMO and all this 49% bit is wanky wah crap from Hicks PR mob. He is leaving but it may take a while, or not but he will be put in a good light just so he can save face.

If DIC agree to pay £200 million for Gilletts stake he wont walk away with £200 million

Gillett would either agree to paying off his share of the debt leaving him with a balance (profit £40-80 million whichever you believe) or alternative if DIC assume his share of the debt they would deduct that from the bid price

215M GBP isn't it? Ahh it all numbers. 40M GBP profit = 215M GBP. DIC take over his share of the 350M GBP loan.

I kinda get the feeling that DIC are willing to wait it out and watch Hicks struggle to find ways of funding the stadium, transfers and repaying the loan. And just swoop in when he ****s up. I got a bad feeling that things will get alot worse before they get better with Hicks in control.
