Well, Rafa may be sacked if DIC buy the club and he see Hicks as his last chance to stay and get a new deal before DIC buy the club. Then it would be a lot more difficult or at least much more expensive for DIC to sack him.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Sorry to offend. Are you Chris?
I will say nothing to reveal any sources, if that means cryptic, tough.
I am still fed info that says a deal is likely with the sale to DIC in progress. If I'm wrong... well, I am sticking to what I'm told by people talking in London, and they are not especially worried by all the 'Hicks wont sell' stuff. It appears that I am disagreeing with the ''Yanks will never sell'' rhetoric on the forum in the last few days. I am told a deal is still likely. So there.
Gillet is not the good guy.
Rafa is a smart, political man. We owe him a lot.
Thats my info.

I can't see DIC not buying the club if the Sheikh is 100% committed to the deal.As the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, the ruler of Dubai and one of the world's richest men, the Sheikh is, it would be fair to say, a powerful individual. He was not 100 per cent behind DIC's original bid to buy Liverpool and was instrumental in pulling the plug on the deal, but this time, critically, he is said to be 100 per cent committed to the new bid.Just believe and you never know what will happen.

thats true, even if it means paying over the odds, which people have been at pains to point out they would not do.Originally posted by AFII View PostI can't see DIC not buying the club if the Sheikh is 100% committed to the deal.

But isn't the rules like if DIC makes an offer which Hicks matches, Gillett has to sell to hicks. He just can't say that -No I don't like you anymoe Thomas, so I won't sell to you. I'd rather sit on my shares before I do that.Originally posted by AFII View PostYes.
The bottom line is that Gillett in no way want to sell to Hicks, that is how bad things are between them now.

We've been rattling and rolling as a public spectacle for the past 13 months, and we've been shaking with rage and fear at the Americans. Let's hope DIC can put these verbs in the right order asap to get us moving forward.
We might have a lot to thank Rafa in years to come than just trophies. Man I'd hate to make him angry, precisely because he never gets angry. He just gets even! One tit for another.
