Think it was said earlier by someone that the stadium is Hicks baby, he has contacts with HKS, stands to do well from it's construction. Could be he'll be gone once it's built. Hopefully.

Know what you mean, just need this deal sorted once & for all. Stadium might speed up then, & another pearl of wisdom i picked up on here today was, that with the Deal Finally Finally Please God...Done, they could go back to the original 1st HKS Design, Planning ALREADY Approved.

Anyhow, the year 2020 will soon come around, I remember saying something along the same lines while watching the 1st episode in a new series that had just started on tv....SPACE 1999.

Hicks' comments about him feeling like a parent with a new child start from 2:08 .As I say we may all hate the man but that stadium is in a different class.

One thing i wanted to ask someone intelligent,(no joke there, resisted it.). Seriously, If Hicks was selling ALL his shares all along, or intended to anyway right from the start of Dic's interest, would there be any reason for him to NOT want ANYONE home or abroad to know, till the very last minute, or after it's done.

I think what i'm asking is does he have anything to gain, back in USA, Be it business wise or any other reason.

if hicks is looking to sell off part of his sports empire which has been reported then surely he will be holding his cards regarding selling his lfc shares to dic very close to his chest.

if potential investers in his sports group see him selling his shares in lfc maybe that will affect there thoughts on investing in hicks sports empire?
