If DIC take over, I hope it is only as a pre-cursor to Share Liverpool. If DIC come in ASAP, stabilise the club, and remain true to this supposed 7 year exit strategy (which I think would be more than enough time to allow the Share Liverpool scheme to get off the ground) and then the fans take over, I'd be delighted.

They did, fortuitously - Scholes disallowed goal that was actually onside, last minute goalkeeping error etc. I dont read too much into Mourinho's CL exploits with Porto. He had unlimited funds at Chelsea and yet wasn't able to repeat the success in Europe there.

IMO, while the club is so rotten from top to bottom there is little prospect of bringing in a top quality coach to replace Rafa, who would want to put their repuation on the line managing in what is a minefield? But there are probably so many players at the moment who have lost any kind of faith in their manager that it's a case of either the manager going or the players. I think Rafa has lost the plot somewhat this season, but if we didn't have such a bunch of pansy, nancy-boy ****house players with such questionable mentality and attitude at the club, there's no way things would be as bad as they are.
