This club was nowhere in Europe and CL before Rafa arrived. Under Houllier and Evans, in terms of CL, we were nothing. What he has achieved, in getting us to two finals and winning it once, is nothing short of miraculous.

But sadly we were nowhere in the league before Rafa, and are still nowhere 4 yrs later

Rafa knew they were liars and had deceived us all and he called them out.
Which is why so many showed their support to him. Which is why we should still show our support until the issue doesn't exist anymore and we can talk about purely football.

This is what is completely different to the Houlier years. Matters off the pitch have completely taken over in importance to those on.

He deserves our dignity, if anyone still has it left in them.

Anybody remember when Rafa brought his Valencia team to Anfield and they destroyed us. I have never seen a team play like that in my life and to me that is what Rafa can do when he is backed by the board and given funds to go after his number 1 targets. I have supported rafa 100% as he has been manager and yes i have ranted about him at times like i did today after the game. However i am gutted that it has turned out the way it has.

Rafa has done this to himself with his rotation system. It might of worked well in Spain but it has not over here and he is his own worst enemy.

I had such high hopes for rafa at our club as i thought we now have a manager to put us back where we belong. I only hope he has much success at his new club and has a board who will allow him to go on and win again.

Thankyou Rafa for everything. If you are here next season PLEASE SORT YOUR **** OUT. If not thankyou and goodnight

THOSE AMERICAN ****WITS HAVE ****ED UP OUR SEASON.(With a little help from Rafa)

We have a good team as we were flying before all the sit hit the fan and with Hicks telling everyone they were after a new manager the players must now feel that Rafa is a good as gone so dont really have to listen or put any effort in.

I can see little hope of #19 without Rafa. Without the Yanks and with the stability we need, we'll have a chance.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

The substitutions today of Babel and Lucas (who I thought were our 2 best sources for a goal) was madness. Absolute madness. Final nail in the coffin?

              Not just yet.

All great manager have the odd bad season and i think this is Rafa's. If he is here next season and DIC buy us. Rafa will be able to go for his number 1 targets. I say give him 1 more season with the backing the guy deserves and we will see a real Rafa Benitez side alot like Valencia.

The Guy deserves respect for everything he has done in football and at liverpool. Alot of people might call him all names under the sun but who is the football manager at the end of the day earning a six figure wage?

We've had a lot of footballing disappointments this season but honestly they pale into insignificance when you consider what could happen if the chuckle brothers stay in control. Personally I won't start worrying about actual football again until next season, hopefully with G&H long gone (and Rafa still in the hot seat)

How can you say that? Babel and Lucas were tiring. Kewell came on and had 4+ shots, hit the cross bar, one blocked. And you think bringing on Stevie G when you need to win a game is madness?

I feel the exact same way I use to always check the net, text ect about Liverpool news i.e. transfer targets, games ect but now I just find myself looking for news about DIC all day everyday DIC is taking over my life (Queue the piss takes)

I cannot wait to the new season I have completely lost my passion for Liverpool and football this season and it’s not down to football as I was there in the 90's and still supported us 150%, however I am embarrassed of the circus our club has become.

If there was one player out there tiring it was Alonso. Lucas was on fire. He just hit the crossbar with a header from an attacking move. Not the sign of a player tiring. Babel was giving the full back problems. Why take him off?

Babel off so that we could get Kewell the opportunity to have 5 shots on goal.

In the last 15 minutes i'd fancy a fresh gerrard vs. a tired lucas wouldn't you?

Maybe it should've been Alonso for Gerrard, Kuyt for Kewell? Who knows eh?

For ****s sake get a grip fellas, I expect better from most of you.

Regardless of whether we finish 5th or worse and lose all the cup competitions now I cannot judge Rafa Benitez on this seasons performances.

Excuse or not there has been so much trouble and strife at boardroom level it has permeated all levels of Liverpool club.

This season is Rafas get out of jail free card, if and when we sort those two yank cunts out and get settled by next season Then and only then will I judge him on next seasons performances. 2008/2009 will be when he delivers or gets shipped out, before that and it simply wont be the right decision.

The yanks have ****ed up this season, no one else.
