As much as I love Rafa. I've lost faith in his ability to win big in England. He doesn't have enough courage to go for it in the Premiership and I think the situation he finds himself in now compared to what he had with Valencia v a struggling Barca and Real Madrid is very different and I believe it's beyond him.
Yes the Yanks have screwed things up. But the manager picks the teams, makes the subs and chooses the players to buy. And I can think of plenty of questionable line ups, subs and average players that we have on our books.
We're not getting any better, we're getting worse.
We had the easiest cup run so far and yet we made hard work of every match.

The difference between Winning the Pl and Winning the Cl is strenght in depth. You need to play your best 11 in most of the CL games, you can`t do that in the PL every week.until we have enough players and time to compete with ManU,Chelski and arsenil in the transfer market we`ll never compete in the PL.But we do have enough players to win the CL again.

Problem is that almost every team left in it could say the same mate, oh, and the fact that at the moment we just don't have the form, team spirit, or confidence to do it.Originally posted by Johnny View PostThe difference between Winning the Pl and Winning the Cl is strenght in depth. You need to play your best 11 in most of the CL games, you can`t do that in the PL every week.until we have enough players and time to compete with ManU,Chelski and arsenil in the transfer market we`ll never compete in the PL.But we do have enough players to win the CL again.
Having said that, we were almost equally as **** in the league in 2005 and look what happened then. I do struggle a bit to realistically see lightning striking twice, but i guess we never know.
To be honest, I'm kind of at the Newcastle stage now.... I actually don't really care if we win anything, I'd just like to see us playing some good football with a positive mentality and outlook.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

The end of G+H will see a new beginning concerning Rafa and the team(If DIC buy in).Proper investment in "World Class" players will also help.Instead of being beaten to players like Ronaldo,Malouda,Duff or SWP we`ll hopefully be able to beat our rivals in the transfer market soon.Originally posted by MrMichael View PostProblem is that almost every team left in it could say the same mate, oh, and the fact that at the moment we just don't have the form, team spirit, or confidence to do it.

The facts are the blue ****e are above us in the League, We have Villa and Citeh breathing down our necks and if we don’t sort our **** out soon we will be finishing 8th or 9th. Even the likes of Villa and Citeh have improved their squads to a point where they are starting to become a big threat. Let’s face it when it comes down to the so called big 4 we are the poor relative who tries to keep up with our richer, stronger members.
John Moores will be turning in his grave knowing what this great club has become.
