It was the opposite, 1860 have been royaly ****ed by their Chief sponsor.Originally posted by vlahka View PostI guess he finally came up against someone who wouldnt take his pointlessness.
He has basically financed the club for a few years but wants to own the club. This is not allowed in Germany (no individual may own 51%) in protest he refused to bankroll the 3m euros needed to stay in the 3rd division, so they were kicked out, down to non-league football.
Aye, although only being there a few weeks earned a lot of credit across Germany for fighting the clubs corner against this idiot, although he lost, he had the decency to walk. The club are in dire straights because he won't finance the licence (proof of adequate finances needed) 3m Euros, but he won't allow other sponsors in, as a protest against the ownership laws.
Because of this my local club SC Paderborn were not relegated, they stayed up because they had the money.Last edited by kev776; 21-06-17, 08:03 AM.Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.

Yup. Very tidy defender.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostHe was so underrated. Will always remember when Rafa moved him to left back to specifically deal with Messi, and then had him in his pocket.

****ing hell, he's not dead ha ha!Originally posted by kev776 View Post34 that's no age
I know what you're saying, very young for someone of his quality and fitness level to retire. Maybe he just doesn't have the time on his hands to trim his beard and now that he's retiring he can spend more time keeping it nice and quaffed.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

I think going from Real Madrid to West Ham would make me reappraise my career to be honest.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View Post****ing hell, he's not dead ha ha!

Yes. Rafa was nothing if not a tactical genius. Some managers thrive with limitations, win by defeating opponents (...obviously). Rafa could take a weaker side and turn it into something more deadly.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostHe was so underrated. Unfortunately I think he was his own worst enemy when it came to man-management. Either way, Arbeloa was a fantastic signing from nowhere. Shame he couldnt settle. Shame Madrid wanted him.In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
