Noticed that myself. Rafa was right, our reserve/youth teams were **** in those days.

Stoke and Southampton go head-to-head over ex-Liverpool stopper Peter Gulacsi

Gulacsi, 23, has caught the eye of the Premier League duo after playing a starring role as Red Bull Salzburg romped to Austrian title this season.

The 6ft 3in stopper, who is contracted to Salzburg until 2017, is valued at around £2.5m.

Stoke are eyeing Gulacsi as a possible replacement if they lose current no.1 Asmir Begovic.

Southampton want Gulacsi, who is also a target for Germans Werder Bremen, to provide genuine competition to their current first choice Artur Boruc.

Gulacsi has been pencilled in to make his senior international debut for Hungary against Denmark against Denmark next month.

But he has the added attraction to English clubs of qualifying as a home grown player after spending six years on Liverpool's books before joining Red Bull Salzburg last summer.

Gulacsi's agent James Lippett said: "Peter has been brilliant this season and is therefore going to attract attention from the Premier League and Bundesliga but as of now he is very committed to the Red Bull project."

Neither have the Leeds fans. Boom boom.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

****in hell. Hate it when we let a kid go and they become great elsewhere.

Mind you we've never had it quite as bad as the Mancs with Pogba

Well, we've no excuse with this one, he was here long enough. TBF we had a few decent young keepers when he signed, but he definitely looked like the only one close to ever pushing through and had all the attributes to become a decent keeper. Think him and Bouzanis were both tipped strongly to make it although I've just checked and Bouzanis is back in Australia.

He was terrible when he was on loan at Hull tbf - my wife's cousin is a season ticket holder at the KC & said he was one of the worst keepers he's seen

Maybe it's a case of him shining in a **** league?
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

Nope. Segunda. Apparently he turned down 'numerous La Liga clubs'

Ahhh Dani, we had such high hopes. Let's hope we're not looking in this thread for Suso in years to come.

                      Of course he did.

I remember raving to my mate about him saying he was the next Messi. Oops

Betis are in a right old state aren't they? They've sold or moved on loads of players over the last season and a bit. Pepe Mel was sacked, but they reckon he was holding the club together.

Adam Morgan has been released by Yeovil after their relegation to League One. He played in a friendly on Saturday for Chesterfield as a trialist.

                            'kin hell.

Wasn't he meant to be the next "next big thing" a few years ago?

He scored for ten games in a row (13 in total) a few years back and was lethal in front of goal, but once we started playing him on the wing, it all went down hill. He was a good poacher who worked hard up front and had a decent chance of making it there, but never had the pace or skill to play as a wide forward and struggled when he played there.

Be interesting to see how he does if a team plays to his strengths.
