What happened to John Scales after moving to Spurs? Did he retire?

Am pretty sure he signed for Ipswich for a while and ended up retired with a bad injury, I think. wikipedia time!!!

Where is Wayne Harrison !

He did an article in Four Four Two a while back, one of those where are they now jobs. I think he is driving a fork lift or something, but I've been wrong before (once). Will see if I can dig it out.

Remember Alex Watson? Liar! He played for Liverpool in the Charity Shield in 1988. He was the younger brother of Dave Watson who moved to Everton and had some success. Alex Watson didn't do quite so well, though his career lasted long enough - from Wikipedia, he went to "Clevedon Town in November 2004, playing 23 times without scoring until the end of the season when he appears to have left."

Can anybody remember that we had a Brazilian left back on trial a few years ago when Ged was here. He played a few reserve games including one against Man Utd and was supposed to be the dogs, but we never signed him.

Sander Westerveld went to Real Sociedad and did well. Think he played for Pompey and the BS a few times a couple of years ago. Decent keeper.

Abel Xavier went to Galatasaray. Played for Boro for a couple of years and then joined Beckham in the US at LA. Properly **** player who's career is was far more illustrious than was deserved.

We sent him on loan a couple of times before he went to Blackburn. Retired due to injury in 2003.

Michael Stensgaard is now working as one of the crocks of moders football - a player agent, having something like 15 danish "profiles" in his book... I think his agency is called Evolution or something of that sort...

Torben Piechnik however played for 5 seasons at a danish club called AGF winning a bronze medal before retirement. Since then he has been working in the transportation business as well as getting a physios degree of some sort... He is now attached as a physio for a danish 3rd div. team called HIK as well as being their defensive coach... I also remember a player called Lleyton Maxwell coming through around the same time as Djimi Traore. Their careers have diverged since. Djimi, European Champion, Lleyton last spotted playing for Connah's Quay Nomads.

I've seen him play a couple of times this season - he plays for Caernarfon Town now. He's put a lot of weight on and struggles to play more than 60-65 mins. Shame.
