Bradford City goalkeeper Brad Jones has left the club after having his contract cancelled by mutual consent.

The 33-year-old joined the Bantams on a one-year deal in August after leaving Liverpool in the summer.

The Australian made just three appearances for the League One side, conceding two goals in every game.

Chief operating officer James Mason told the club website: "We would like to place on record our thanks for Brad's time and effort whilst here. That one training session where he kept a clean sheet vs our academy lads was unforgettable "

I must be the other one because that corner joke (wasn't even that bad a corner) bores me to tears and I thought there was a decent player in him. Always thought he'd be decent as part of a front two rather than out wide.

Wasn't that bad a corner? He rolled it straight to Willian, there wasn't even a red shirt anywhere near where he put it!

In fairness to him he never got a look in after Suarez returned from his ban and with Sturridge and Suarez on fire, he wasn't really needed as anything other than an occasional late sub.

Of course it's unfair to define him by that moment, but let's be honest, that corner really was atrocious
