He is far better than the championship.

Cardiff were linked with him, imagine the mad ******* midfield of Momo and Medel

      Not for me.
One of the worst I can remember, but he had something about him did Momo and I loved him.

he was a beast for us at times, i've stated before but i felt the gerrard final he was our best player (bar of course two stunning gerrard goals) he was outstanding and dragged us through extra time when all around him, including our fittest players gerrard and riise, where dropping

i'm not sure what he's like now, since he left us he just seems to have drifted down and down?

but, we are short in that area, he is something different to what we have, and whilst he might not fit the 'passing' game, if he's available and cheap and can be signed as a free even after the window closes then why not - it would give us that extra bit of power and even if he only came and made 5-10 appearences in the season, starting in cup games to rest a couple playes and coming on in certain games when we need some energy - then there is nothing to lose imo

        make it happen

The eye injury really ****ed him up, not been the same player since.

          Still take him though.

Where's that clip of him passing to himself?
            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Is that the one when he wellied it about 40 feet straight up into the air?

People forget how incredible he was that night in Barcelona. A force of nature.

                Yeah, that's the one.

He was great at times. He practically invented the role of forward-lying defensive harasser.

Sensational at breaking up play but I doubt anyone on here has seen him play for years. I don't think we should bring him back to the club

he did it on many occasions, dug deep, made superb tackles that got the fans and team going, covered every blade of grass, dug us out of the ****e a few times when teams caught us on the break and he'd come from nowhere.

again, whilst it's not the rodgers 'philosophy' there has been times where we have been crying out for someone capable of doing that, and whilst i'd like to have seen us sign a top player for the role, rodgers doesn't see it as a priority, but if he can still run, then as a free transfer it would be nice to have that option in the squad if needed...especially having one that hasn't cost a lot/so needs or is expecting to player every game.

that said tho - we do have i believe Sakho and Toure who can play as defensive mid, so if needed in certain games maybe they could fill in that role??

momo was a proper dirty ****er. kind of like what tiote brings to newcastle. lots of dodgy tackles when he needs to stop a player but ultimately not a good footballer.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Remember some of the players on the bench trying his special glasses on and having a laugh about it. Happy days.

one of sissoko's first games back from that eye injury, he started with the glasses on but jibbed them off after about 10 mins because they were annoying him

I liked Momo but he had severe limitations. I remember a home game. V Utd where they were happy for him to have the ball because they knew he wouldn't do anything with it.

Don't think he would be a Brendan type player at all.

I'm still convinced Ballack poo pooed himself in that charity shield game. Rafa picked such a **** midfield that day v Essien, Lampard and Ballack but he got it right as Momo owned them.
