I remember him playing against City and at one point he dummied and sent about 8 City players one way before switching play to the other side.
You are right of course, Houllier had no idea how to play him which was a shame as he could have been something special here.

big disappointment for me is that Jari didn't have a manager that could set up a team to play to his strengths. Litmanen > Heskey
Heskey was awful... the media always made a big deal about him being a good partner for Owen, but I swear his flick ons always went in the wrong direction.
