    200/1? F*ck off

These are our odds generally quoted by bookmakers as our chances of winning the title. I don't think we'll win the title, not by any stretch of the imagination, but 200/1? No chance. I've put my money where my mouth is and had a tenner on that, returning '2 large'. I think we should be 50's, 66's tops.

If we win our next two games, the league table will look like this:

    1 Arsenal 28 12 3 0 32 9 7 5 1 25 12 36 65
    2 Man Utd 28 12 1 1 32 5 8 3 3 26 10 43 64
    3 Chelsea 27 8 5 0 23 8 9 2 3 19 9 25 58
    4 Liverpool 28 7 6 1 31 11 7 5 2 16 8 28 53

So 12 points off and a full 30 points still to be played for. The only way we'd ever have a chance of winning the title is by beating the other 3 on their own patch, well, why not? 9 points there plus: Man U:Ars, Che:Ars, Che:Man U all still to come and suddenly that gap would become 5/6 points tops and then who knows?

    200/1? Not on your nelly.

We're not even a 1000-1 shot for the title in my book.

That's bull**** and you know it. We'll wipe the floor with them today and i think EVEN the bookies will be forced to reign us in to at best 150/1.

For the record i don't think we'll win the league, but if from this stage of the season in these positions the league was played out 200 times, i think we'd win it more than once. The bookies disagree.

This'll be the sweetest title win ever if in the unlikely event SG does lift that trophy in may.

200-1 still isn't attractive enough for me to put my own money down. Our odds should be evn further out imo.

It could be a million to one and i still wouldnt bother because it's literally not gonna happen.

At a million to one I'd put a quid on it at the off chance Chelsea, Arsenal and United were caught up in some sort of financial scandal thus docking them 30 points. We'd then have to battle the blue ****e and villa for the title.

We have a tricky set of fixtures to come where, unfortunately, we're playing a lot of sides that need points. Bolton, Newcastle, Utd, Reading, Everton, Arsenal, Fulham, Birmingham - all those teams will be fighting like mad to get something from the games for their own reasons. Of course I expect to win some of them but I'd also expect to drop points in others.

Bookies NEVER use emotion when handing out odds Alan, its all about the money. They do however rely on using YOUR emotion to put 'money where mouths are' as you put it. That's another tenner for them, sadly.

well done for the optamistic view point fella

when you look at the table like that things dont look as bad as the media and some on here COUGHdjsCOUGH would have us believe.

i think the titles out of reach but finishing within 6 points of the top with whats gone on would please me greatly.
