Kop Ticket Prices Through The Years

Anyone who collects footy programmes might know this. Or maybe just some football historians.

How much has it cost to watch football on The Kop over the years. Go as far back as you possibly can.

    I remember it being £1 or £1.50 when I was a kid.

I'm keen to get a history of Kop ticket prices. Can anyone help?

i'm hoping to get something way way back, like a price for every decade eg 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, now

Now it's either £34 for a Cat A game or £32 for other games (not including lower division opponents in the cup, when it's about £24).

When me and my old man first started going in 1985 I remember the old ticket office by used to have the full 'menu' of prices on the wall. The Kop was £2.50, I think the most expensive was £5.00 for other parts of the ground.

In 82/83 it was one pound fifty for the Kop.

My season ticket in '85 was £45.

The season before I paid £1.50 to gain access to the Kop as an under 15.

My first season ticket in 1986 was something like £40 for the Kop , I'm pretty sure that even upto the late 80's it ws still only about £3 to get in the kop

Found £600-700 online, but how reliable that is I have no idea.

I remember it to be £1.80 to get in kop through mid 80's for under 16 (or 15). £3.60 for adults.

I seem to recall paying £1.70 for under 16s in 1984/85
