In fairness to United ...although they continually get easy draws in Europe (easy groups every year, Lille etc), they've drawn something like 11 Premier League teams on the trot in the FA Cup.

To be honest being top seeds means that nearly all the big clubs get easy groups - ours should have been plain sailing this year. United have just been a top seed for longer so the impression is more strong. Another example is how Real always get out of their group even if in recent years they have been unable to progress further.

I think Barcelona will want to avoid the English teams to be honest but I would imagine all the English teams would take whoever the draw threw up one way or another.

Nah, i think Schalke is easier. Fenerbahce usually score loads of goals at home and with those mental fans behind them, it's a harder place to go and get a result IMO. Schalke's closer, less intimidating and they're more of a 'standard' team IMO, with less spark and potential for an upset.
