True, to some degree he's been offering the peace pipe lately. He's tried to place the blame on Gillett for the Klinsmann incident and the emails he supposedly sent to some fans make it appear like he's getting the message that fans aren't exactly happy with his regime.

A boycott campaign or one where the fans are trying to get him out will only damage the club. He's far more likely to listen to a calm and logical argument than pay any sort of attention to raving nut jobs who verbally abuse him and his family, and try to undermine the club by making it unattractive to sponsors.

All I'm saying is that there are better ways to get one's point across, and they should be explored.
when things go wrong, don't walk away.
    that'll only make it harder.

therefore the only way to hurt him is by hitting him in the pocket, tbh id boycott everything that fattens his bank balance.
How does boycotting Carlsberg hurt Hicks' bank balance, does he secretly own shares in them

it would only put the club in a bad light in regards to future sponsorship deals. you do seem to miss that all kinds of boycotts will only harm the club not the owners. make no mistake they will walk away unscarred with a nice profit in their pockets while we will be left to pick up the pieces. a boycott will only make matters worse.
