    Moscow

If we get a 1-1 or something similar on Wednesday night is anyone tempted to book ?

Flight prices are already ridiculously steep. I dread to think what they'll be like in a month's time.

I didn't even apply for the UEFA ballot tickets this year.

If anyone who went to Athens last year thought that was bad,Moscow will be much worse i think.

Not a very safe place to be from what i have heard by a few who comes into my uncles cafe.

I applied but I didn't get tickets. Might be better off. I was in Athens and swore I'd never go to another final unless it was in a reasonably organised venue. Even Istanbul was poorly organised but there were not nearly as many fans without tickets. I work with quite a few Russians and they advised me not to go if Liverpool got there, saying Moscow was very dangerous. Quite frankly this has scared the crap out of me but then again, safety in numbers and all that....

I appreciate the logic and all that, (and I know it's easy for me to say without a wife and kids to look after) but if we get the mancs in Moscow there's absolutely nothing that would keep me away. Nothing.

That's funny - because if it was the Mancs in Moscow then there's absolutely nothing that would pursuade me to go. Nothing.

There would be absolute murder, and their police wouldn't mess about. Given recent political tensions, the Russians would love to make an example of English fans too.

I'll be saving my money and watching it in a bar near one of my mate's houses in Liverpool if it's the Mancs.

Jamo's young and has no dependents/responsibilities, so I can understand such enthusiasm.

            I'm in Calvoboy's camp.

I can also only assume AA's never experienced proper carnage at a game. It's ****ing horrible and there'd be no 'ifs or buts' about trouble in Moscow if it was us v the Mancs. There never will have been a more cast-iron certainty. Carnage - 100%.

Well, obviously I missed out on football in the 80's, but I was there in Athens and that was an eye-opener. Had we been facing Man Utd instead of Milan people would have died, for sure.

I've already talked about the possibility of Moscow with the lads I go with and we unanimously decided we would all still go if it was against the Mancs.

I know it would be a bit of a mad decision, but I couldn't NOT go, if that makes sense.

Imagine, just imagine beating them in a European Cup final. Wow.

Anyway, first things first, we had better cheer on Roma tomorrow night and nick a draw at The Emirates on Wednesday.....

Imagine losing to them in a European Cup Final though. It doesn't bear thinking about.

Been to all Euro/CL finals and been to Russia- people will die out there. I know it sounds melodramatic but I'm not joking.

I have to agree with most people here, I have been to Istanbul and Athens but there is no way I will be going (apart from probably beeing banned by work) I do not think it is worth the risk.

if an english club gets to moscow it will be a place to miss.the russian hooligans will be there in force and they are off there heads, they won't think twice of even hitting women.there was loads of trouble when england played there a few months back.fans were attacked just sitting in a bar doing nothing.fans thought staying in a hotel was safe, but they were even attacked there.
