Since Rafa has taken over, I'd say that at various times it's been Gerrard, Carra, Xabi, Sissoko, even Steve Finnan and it now includes Kuyt, even though he's only been at the club for a matter of minutes.

They all have different styles and strengths that they all bring to our club, buth they all have something in common - dedication, determination, enthusiasm a strong work ethic, but most of all, a love football and of all things LFC.
    Good post.

But, for the sake of argument, go on...stick yer nick out!

      Alonso for me.

Don;t know why Stevie isn't there, but there's something about Xabi that i enjoy watching. More suprising is he beats Carra.
Constantly ordering people around, talking to them, he's the hidden captain and works very hard for the team. Can say he plays out of position but never moans.
Keep forgetting he's younger than Stevie, that says it all.

            I plumped for Carra.

He epitomises what I think a professional footballer should be. He loves the club he plays for would never even think about leaving no matter what. You know full well he would run into a brick wall for the team. He knows what this club means to the fans and he plays every game like it's his last. The bloke is a model pro a true legend and a great player. If I had a young son I would tell him to be like Carra as he would go far in life no matter what he did.

              for the post and...

for the use of the word 'plumped'. Much under-used.

Ok, I've ranked them - top 5 only. This was actually really hard, but this is how I currently feel:

                1. Xabi
                2. Kuyt
                3 Stevie G
                4. Momo
                5. Carra

So favourite player right now is Xabi.

Seeing Carra 5th is kind of depressing. Hell, seeing Stevie G third is harsh on him too. They don't deserve to be so low, but there you go.

                    Yeah - Great Post

It's hard to belive that Carra ever supported the Blue****e as a boy. Remember him bouncing around at Goodison Park when Gary Mac scored THAT Free Kick. Total Class.

Carra at the Mo, but I can see Kuyt and Agger up there next season. Both looked great last night.

Very well said - for these reasons, I would also say Carra.
Carragher is a true hero. His honesty, commitment, loyalty and fairness mark him out as a true legend.
