If Rafa truly believed that we would accept it...do you think he would sell Gerrard?

Depends on what kind of deal we'd get.
Every player has his price and every player has a point where you are better of selling them like Henry, Vieira, Beckham, Fowler.
All players you'd never expect to be sold but when hey left it proved to be a masterstroke.
Stevie is in his prime so I don't think Rafa would sell him yet, but it all depends on the deal on the table. IMOOriginally posted by Gordon Brown

Don't think Rafa would give a **** if we accepted it or not. If Rafa sells him then thats OK with me. I don't think he will but at some point he probably will. How old is he 28?Originally posted by Alan Key View PostMe and my old man have just argued this over a lamb hot-pot. I won't tell you which side I was on. Starts a thread asking about the worst Liverpool player, then another about Rafa's rotation policy dooming us for the near future, now one stirring the pot about Stevie G. Over a hot pot. Don't they like their hot pots .....

That won't be sending out the right kind of message considering all that's happening behind the scenes.
Rafa needs Gerrard.
We need Gerrard.
Top European clubs don't sell there best players.Especially the ones where you have the best in the world in his position.-----------------------------------------------

Stupid Thread
Would be stupid to sell him. He is our leader and regular saviour
Madrid wouldnt sell Raul or Casillas, Arsenal wouldnt sell Fabregas, Mancs wouldnt sell Ronaldo, Milan never sold Maldini, Juve wouldnt sell Buffon, Chelsea wouldnt sell Terry and more importantly Liverpool will NOT SELL GERRARD

"Dissenting opinion"? Going against the grain beacuse you actually believe something is one thing, posting a constant stream of ill thought out, negative nonsense simply for the sake of "dissenting" completely another. Wtf with all these "discussion" topics dude, its getting really really silly. This is, after all, supposed to be a fans forum. You know, for supporters of the club.
What on earth is the "If Rafa truly believed that we would accept it" bit of the question about anyway? What's that got to do with the price of fish? I Rafa had good footballing reasons for it he might, I seriously doubt our acceptance or not would come into it. And neither should it.Last edited by MrMichael; 07-04-08, 08:33 PM.I could not dig, I dared not rob:

Rafa is the manager so he decides who we will sell and buy.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

I think he deserves a bit more credit than that.-----------------------------------------------
