20-odd goals from midfield yet again might have something to do with it. The guy is totally taken for granted, although I'd agree he's had better seasons.

That c*nt Ronaldo will win and, though it kills me to say it, deserve it. Any other year Torres would walk it.

That list shows and also past nominations show how much Fat Fwank is appreciated by his fellow professionals.

El Nino should get this award - his first season and he has been nothing short of incredible. Perfect end to this season would be him scoring the winner in Moscow!!

In that case Adeybayor tops the list
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                1. Ronaldo
                2. Torres
                3. Gerrard

I'll be right and that is right. Gerrard has had a pretty good year by normal standards, IMO. The first two are no brainers.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

Ronaldo, they shouldn't have even bothered with nominations

I'm shocked (one season wonder) Fabregas is nominated.

                        As for Adebayor

not shocked by any of those 3. gerard whilst not at his best has been really good, fabregas is fabreclass - would love to have him in our team, and adebayor (******) is till a pretty good footballer and 3rd top goalscorer.

In fairness he was outstanding until, er, he had his hair cut. Scored some wonderful goals too, notably that volley at Spurs.
