Which Liverpool players would get in a prem XI now?

I did one of these at the start of the season and was left with a little red tinted egg on my face. What about now, in your honest opinion?

I'm not getting into another Mascherano debate, but he wouldn't start 30+ games for a title winning side. Big away games? Yes. But that accounts for about 10% of all games. Therefore he's not getting in a prem XI.

I'd pick Gerrard and Nando. Easy. Now i'll start thinking.

                  Err, why not?

Chavs won the title 2 years running with bloody Makalele in their team, Mascherano is now better than Makalele

Behave. 2 strikers as well please. Nando with Shrek would be something to behold.

You should be on the Soccer Saturday panel.

I'd be tempted with Flamini/Fabregas axis in the middle - they compliment each other so well; likewise with Vidic/Ferdinand.

If it was a straight choice between Mascherano and Flamini, I'd take the Monster everytime.

                            Firstly I love Mascherano

                            But

Flamini has been a revelation for the Gooners, he really does make them tick and allows Fabregas and Hleb and so on to play the lovely stuff. Last week when he got injured the Gooners stopped playing that lovely one touch football, he was missed vs the Mancs too, he really has had a great season.
                            We come not to play.

                              Better than Makalele was?

They did, however, they played the most turgid football i can ever recall and bought and incredible squad to sit around him.

We will continue to struggle to break poor sides down at home if we persist with mascher, we should be putting 4 past all of them without remorse.
