Everyone can check up my posts and then see that I have said the same thing over and over again.

I have never been worried that Hicks will buy Gillett's 50%.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

That's fair enough, mate, but it's hardly concrete evidence that your info is sound, is it? Not having a go, like, but as I said everyone at some stage has a friend of a friend who knows someone. These stories very rarely turn out to be true though.

Rafa has shown that in Europe he is untouchable and in the Champions League with the money invloved DIC can really bring in the revenues no doubt about that. 3 semi finals in 4 years is not a fluke.

Yesour form in the league hasnt been great few reasons would be he had to overhaul the squad that he inherited, had to build a new side with the right type of players and in this trasnsition he lost out quite a few number one targets.

If he is backed in the transfer market he can get his number one signings and can muont a realistic title challenge. Also before december we were within a shout and we were close to the top three but the off field problems took its toll and i truly think that hampered our league form. Imagine middle of the season rumours going around that a new manager has been sounded how does that affect the manager and the players as some of them would only play for Rafa.

Players like Torres and Macherano really wated to play for Rafa only. If Rafa does leave i dont think the current squad will be the same and we shall head to another trasnsition and more rebuilding and theres no guarantee the new manager will win us the quadruple

That is what I have been told.
Which means it is now more important than ever that Hicks does not wrest control of the boardroom - ie Parry must stay

BTW, if the agreement for Gillett's shares is in place, and assuming it goes through, how do DIC propose getting Hicks to sell his shares to them?

Mourinho and Rijkaard........i wouldnt want any of them still give Rafa another two years and let him fullfill his contract by than we might even win number 19 and hopefully number 7 if we win it this year

Should Parry stay though? From what I've heard recently he seems like a snake and has it in for Rafa. I'm no fan of Hicks but at least he is backing Rafa, whether the contract offer is a PR stunt or not its what we all want. Hicks is getting a lot of abuse and deservedly so but Parry and Gillett are getting off easy for my liking, these two seem against rafa.

I know that and it's fair enough. The only thing I can do is to tell you what I have been told then it's up to everyone if they believe it or not, I don't really care.

I didn't say that Rafa would be sacked, just that DIC will already have their plans ready when they take/if they take over. It could be Rafa that they discussed it with, I don't know that.

Parry and Gillett probably already know what plans DIC have, Gillett pointed to that in his interview, and it wouldn't be that big problem for them to tell Rafa so he can make his own transfer plans.

Sure it was not because they got rumblings that Rafa was going to quit and so needed an "insurance policy"?

Sounds good to me mate, DIC has to be realistic changing a new manager that means new players new tactics and few of the currrent players get shipped out.

Most of the players in the squad have been with Rafa for sometime they know his tactics and the formations especially in Europe so i am sure a new manager would bring new ideas which would in turn disrupt the style/tactics/formation in Europe.

Hopefully DIC coming in would keep Rafa back him and bring us more silverware. It just makes sense to keep Rafa for now as he is building for the future.

I struggle to understand why DIC would contemplate sacking Rafa who is one of the best young manager in the world. Yes, we lacked behind in the league again this year but surely people can see the improvement. I am not convinced anyone coming in can have an higher odds of winning the league that Rafa.
                      We going to win #19th!!

I'd prefer to deal in the facts we have and the facts are that DIC have been rejected by one of the clubs owners who wants complete control of the club himself.

That's fact, fella, and as I said your post about having everything from players to stadium sorted appears to be nothing more than hope and idle speculation. You don't have one single bit of evidence to back it up.
So where are the 'facts' then !? Facts doesn't mean things which are in the public domain.

There is no evidence Rafa has aligned himself with Hicks, so to start making assumptions on that premise is very tenuous.
                          3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Throwing your toys out of the pram because we are all sceptical of you doesn't make you look anymore credable. I once broken a vase as a kid as maintained from the start that it wasn't me. Just because my story was the same from the beginning didn't mean it was true.

Right now you look like a bit of a spoon, hopefully I'll be the one looking stupid and you can call us all for not believing you. Until that time we can all have our opinion that you are having a fantasy.

I didn't realise that clause was time-bound! So from June, Gillette (if he wants to) can sell 50% of the club to anyone?

I think thats why he is doing it, hoping Gillett and Parry will say no and get more fans against them. Win win situation for him, gets the PR for suggesting it and giving Rafa a new contract or smears Gillett for not backing Rafa.
